Been lovely playing in shorts a few times this week after some pretty miserable weather. Golf has been pretty much as usual 3 or 4 really bad holes racking the score up. Similar this morning front 9 double on 2 and 4 and a mare in a bunker on 6. Then it got better played 7-9 ok 3 pretty tough holes. Then came back in 32 it's a par 35 of the whites but the 17th is a 4 of the yellows
https://www.alloagolfclub.co.uk/the-course/course-tour/hole-17/ ridiculous par 4 if you hit a really good drive you still have 200 to the green and there is a ditch right in front of it so par is 34. Eagled 13
https://www.alloagolfclub.co.uk/the-course/course-tour/hole-13/ with a pitch from about 40 yards one bounce hit the pin and dropped in

Parred every other one. had a few good looks but most happy with 12 and 14 having to hit big draws round trees as I had pulled drives to the left. There's a game in there somewhere.
Off to Burntisland on Saturday for a 4 man scramble but I'm getting an early pick up as we have our usual Friday night game of cards might not be in the best shape

but looking forward to it never played it before and even if we stink the views of of the Firth of Forth are meant to be lovely and the course although not long everyone I have spoken to have really enjoyed it.
