Player has for example 160 left to win the leg
first dart hits the 60 2nd dart goes in 60 but it's loose
final dart goes in the double 20 but the loose dart falls out

WTF happens does he win it or do just the 2 remaining in the board count?

Doesn’t count I believe. Only the two that stay in.

my research says the leg is won. I've posted on a darts group to see if this is the case. However, if you are just scoring points, only darts with the tip touching the board count towards your score in that throw.(don't know how to work links however this video will show the tip touching the board point- https://youtube.com/shorts/mweqgdr5Vqs?feature=shared )

Yeah I knew if not on a finish dart needed to still be touching
The debate I've been having with myself is just the final dart.
As when dart goes in then the leg should be won, the loose dart falls out after the winning dart's vibration knocks it out.

If it falls out before you collect your darts, then it doesn't count.

You'll often see them getting a jog on to collect if one is a dangler. Followed by a break to recover, of course Smiley
