No you shouldn't have called. You weren't getting the odds.

I would have commited myself to the pot by betting out, or moving in first.

Sorry I misread your hand history, you did bet out.

You did have the odds to call, but it's quite close and you can be forgiven for folding.

With less than 10 BBs left after you pass I would have called.

Cheers,

Actually I went out in 8th!  But out of 1516 people I was pleased.  Got a bit unlucky when I moved with AJ someone with Q8 called and hit two 8's

Good result though,  my best in terms of numbers yet and I'm quite pleased

This is a very close decision, personally I would call because

I want to win the tournament , winning this hand can make this a real opportunity

I will be entering move in or fold territory if I fold and I may as well make my stand now when it is worth so much more

If the table sees me move all my chips in on a draw they will be less likley to attack me

I can definately make a case for folding too tho it really depends on your own views. My view is that this pot gives me a massive chance to take it down, folding means I will have to be in twice more and survive to get back to where I was.

Congrats on the result beating 1500 people is a huge result . Well played.

Yeah, Im with most here.

With your stack, once you call the origional raise, and you see that flop, all of my chips would of been in the middle in a flash!.

Reasons? Well calling a raise with  , what better flop are you looking for?

Still, I can understand why u folded and WD on your 1st final table!!

Thanks everyone.  I still wonder what would have happened if I had called - I could have been in a great position.  Next time, I'll do things different - I was just wanting to make that final table, perhaps I should be less interested in scraping through and more concentrated in winning.

Still, I learnt a lot last night and the two posts I've made here have helped me a lot too - hopefully a key moment for me.
