Peter Gould is OUT

Peter raised 17.5k from the button, Mark Teltscher moved all-in, Peter called.

'Have you got a big hand?' asked Mark before expsoing his cards.

Peter Gould just nodded.

Mark Teltscher =

Mark seemed pretty relieved to be involved in a coin flip.

First card ace.

Count these....

One of the dealers just asked Marcel for some 1000's to colour up for some 5000's, Marcel replied, simply, "no"

Anyone else think this is plain bad behaviour?

No not at all bad behaviour, they are his chips he should be allowed to have them how he likes. I can't stand my small chips being taken.

Stop playing 73 off then Cheesy Cheesy :hello:jp

do you get time to play a sng or two Snoops and Flushy?  I don't mean the large entry fees necessarily, but is it all work out there?

Snoopy got one in the day we arrived but sadly we havent really had the chance, they have been VERY long days, if they are done early tonight then we might sneak a couple in.

No and I doubt Marcel was rude either, he just wants to have a mountain of chips to make it harder for people to figure out the size of his stack, he has earned the chips doesnt he have the right to decide what denominations they are in?

I don't think he does. What if all players did this? It would slow down the tourney so much!

It's a psychological thing I guess. Plus you can make some really cool chip castles...

They are his chips. If they are needed for change then Marcel would oblige but colouring up is a different matter. Unless the 100s are being taken out of play then  he has the right to refuse to colour up.

Exactly. it's a pointless thing to do, as everyone knows what you are doing it hardly kids anyone.

JP, you're allowed to still want to have loads of little chips to build towers with, you'll grow out of it eventually....  scared

I prefer to keep lower denom chips, and have opted out of a colour up before. However i did it with a "please can you not colour me up just yet" maybe a more polite approach is better....

Mark Teltscher -- 215k

In very confident mood.

He's currently the table chatterbox.

I hate my little chips being taken too but if he has the majority of the small chips and no-one else will change either then surely the dealer has the right to change chips with the player who has the most (i.e. Marcel).

It's would be better if they just coloured up when there is a pot going imo.

They werent wanting change greg they were wanting to colour up (ie take chips off the table). The Tda rule that comes into play is a ten stack rule. No player is allowed to have more than 10 sepearate stacks of chips in front of them as it takes up too much of table. If 10 chipstacks is exceded then colouring up must take place (rules are ridiculous arent they)- they did enforce this rule at the aussie millions and the only player who took the hump with it was Phil Ivey who was chip leader at the time and seemed to have half the table covered by his stack.
