The question is which is most prestigious.
A perfect 100 points in tiddily-winks is more difficult than the lot of them, but no-one would care if anyone ever managed it.
Snookers greater popularity compared to darts should be taken into account.

Defiinitely the 147 for me..basing it on a daft concept but I reckon its sound
I am pretty hopeless at both snooker and darts but am always up for a game. I CAN however now and again hit 180 at darts (a third of the way there) but would not have a hope of a Fifty break in snooker (again a third of the way there)..

I can't believe people have actually voted for snooker  1. hand/eye coordination is required at the VERY highest level in darts, much less so in snooker. 2. The frequency of 147's is so high compared to 9 darters. 3. You cannot fluke a 9 darter! 4. the pressure involved in 9 darters is much higher as you still need to win the leg (snooker you have already won the frame with 20 odd balls to go) |

Perhaps that is because snooker players are more professionally well trained athletes!! Personally my vote goes to scoring 300 in ten pin bowling but as i dont play any of two choices given!! I've played monkey pool - but thats a bit different  |

My vote is going to 9 darter as there's only ever been one in a World Championships back in 1984.
147's happen every 3 or 4 years in the snooker World Championships.
Whaddaya reckon?
170 check out is more prestigious than both of them. How much £ does Barneveld get for a 9 dart finish? 3 perfect darts vs 9?? |

I've played monkey pool - but thats a bit different Good shout on the 300 Matt. No mistakes/flukes (which can be part of a 147) - but a higher level of consistency than the darts - 11 seperate trips to the line as opposed to 3 for the 9 darter. |

I've seen a few 170 checkouts though. Wayne Mardle this year for one. Never seen a 9 darter. |

12 used to play crown green bowls but to be honest never really ten pin bowled that much 10 actually (bugger - I shouldn't have got it wrong) - BTW I consider 3 shots (like in darts) as 1 visit....- you get the 2 bonus balls at the 10th visit if you hit the strike. Used to play a lot against my Dad - best score 232 with a 7-bagger. |
