Just a quick note from Foxwoods - The place is Huge! I'd guess about the size of the biggest three in Vegas, certainly in terms of slots!

There isn't a massive amount of internet access around, but I'll try and pop on and give a brief update of any people I reognise.

We managed to get rouND a train cancellation and missing a connection to get here okay! It was a long day - setting off from Leeds at lunchtime and driving through the night overhere at about 10am english time on wednesday. We didnt have a room for tuesday night and so played a few hours of poker yesterday to pass the time until a room was ready.

A few hours sleep in the afternoon, then braved the snow to return the rental car in a town down the road, then back to the poker room - which, like everything else here, is huge.

The big comp starts in just under an hour.... should be around 350 runners I think.....

Currently pinching some wi-fi!!

Well as soon as the updating started it has finished!!

Not because he's out, i just can't watch chips being thrown about without knowing whats going on! Raises and re raises on the 5th or 6th hand... and a push from the guy at the other end of the table for about 15000 chips on the river! Bradley called with what he said was the third nuts straight - the other guy had two pair - he now has 40000 and as he says 'more gamblign chips'!!

Ed Giddins is here too and playing, do.t think he's been up to much yet but is in good form.

I'm off to occupy myself with some 2-4 limit or something! I'm a worse watcher than player, thou i'm making sure i'm back regularly to get him away.

Bradley has 38000, and has had his chips all (well most of them) in the middle again in a chopped pot - putting another guy all in.

Ed has about 15000.

We've just got back from the dinner break with Ed Giggins and his mate...

Bradley has around 65k
Ed was in need of a double through, down to a few thousand - second hand back he found kings, only to run into aces...

My pep talk with bradley was that there was no difference between 65 and 80k at this stage - the average is still less than 30. Suggested he slowed it down a little - second hand smooth call a button raise from the bb - check raises the guy all in on the flop with bottom pair... I know nothing!

All is going well, around 300 left and 3 days left!
