I'm not being funny, but I think it's amusing that those of us at lower levels think we deserve less credit than those at a higher level.  I was talking to a friend earlier about how I'd ended up in profit yesterday, it wasn't by much but at the end of the day I was up.  That meant as much if not more than his largeish cash in a MTT.

We should all be proud of what we achieve, no matter how small or large.

I agree Mr F, but sometimes I feel silly saying I've won a little amount when there's members on here winning thousands. But you're right, a win is a win and we should be proud if we win a tourney, no matter how much it is we've actually won.

thats what makes blonde so special, whether your a $2 or $1500 player we are all equal.

to see the likes of tikay and dc congratulating players for winning small stakes games is unique in itself when u think tikay is currently playing in a tournament worth 1 million euros to the winner and christ knows the stakes daves currently playing at the ballagio!

keep it up blondes. one big happy family  Cool

Poppet, Sophie, I am very rarely serious, but please listen when I say, never ever feel silly about what you have achieved.  I will never do what you do in Socialwork etc,  and you may never achieve as much as Tightend/Tkay/5nil/The Tank, at poker, and I feel that none of the above will take me out at Table Tennis.

DON'T EVER FEEL THAT WHAT YOU ACHIEVE IS WORTH ANYTHINGMORE OR LESS THAN WHAT ANYONE ELSE ACHIEVES

That was serious from the "Poppet, Sophie.." bit! There are a few things I'm proud of, but poker isn't one of them at the moment, the biggest thing I have achieved is winning the heads up and that was a team effort. I feel I don't have the edge, if that makes sense. Don't get me wrong, I am proud if I win a small stt, like the blonde $5 extended the other day Smiley

As for the Social Work... I got 'removed' from my contact supervision job with foster kids and their real families because the company only realised 7 months after i'd started that I was 2 year too young! A 19 year old doesn't have the right to stand up in court and tell the judge their views on what would be best for a child. So pretty heartbroken, but I do something else called supported contact now which doesn't involve me attending court. I've just taken up a job as a Community Carer so that'll get me loads of experience until University.
