I managed it . Atlast a torrent worked for me.  I have GSN High stakes poker ( episode 1 ).  When I get home tonight I am going to relax and watch this.   I am really pleased that I finally got this to work.  Lost series 2 was a tempter, WPT was even more of a tempter. But poker cash games were a must.  I just clicked and re-clicked and it eventually started to play.

I am going to get episode 13 next.  I think that is the one with Phil Hellmuth?

Sark, you really need to watch the episodes in order as there are little stories unfolding which you will miss out on if you skip a few.

P.S Glad it finally worked for ya.

Episode 1 is fantastic.  Daniel Negraenu raising Barry Greenstein.  Cash Games are so good.  I am downloading episode 2 at the moment.

I left the episode 1 running for about 3 or 4 hours.  Is this long enough for others to use it?.  If I leave it running while downloading episode 2 my computer runs so slow. So I stopped it.  Is this normal or a rude thing in torrent land?

I thought a seed was a thing you put in soil.  I thought a leach was a bloodsucker.  I have heard of life peers and the peers in the House of Lords.  Torrents are givng me a whole new language.

Double Bump...

Easily the best poker show I've seen in ages, probably the best new poker show since WPT started.

FINALLY we get to see more about what these great players do, day in, day out. (Although of course, saying that, it's still edited and of course they may be playing a leedle beet different knowing the camera is on them...  Cheesy)

Tonight's episode on Challenge was the last for that "day"; and of course featured that final sick hand between Farha and Greenstein.

Now, this is probably going to sound self-indulgent given that I don't play for more than $50 or so at a time, but every now and again playing online I get that "last orbit" hand, where the system decides to make me an offer I can't refuse, right when I'm nicely "up" and have decided to quit for the day - by giving me a huge hand and then giving the only other player at the table with a similar amount of money in front of them the hand that beats mine, or the flop that beats mine, or whatever.

These things happen - but sometimes it's tough not to feel victimised; it's so easy to give in to the temptation to be suspicious of online poker.

Well - once again, anything that can happen for small stakes online, happens in Vegas too. Plus, Farha and Greenstein were (at that point) two of the big winners for that day, I think they both had doubled through Negreanu at one point... so I guess it just shows you.

What I really enjoy about this is when they offer guys get out like playing the turn and the river twice!

Side things this like make the game so more exciting, also seeing some of the junk they limp in with and then make fairly decent hands.

There seems to be a bit of tension between Farha and Sheiky.

Unsurprising, given the kinds of things that 'Sheiky' likes to say at the poker table.

He clashed with Matusow at the WSOP, now he's clashing with the locals here as well.

I loved that quote from Todd Brunson when he was asked by the interviewer to give an opinion on Sheiky, he just said straight-faced, right to the camera: "He's an idiot, and he's going to lose all his money."

Gabe, doing the commentary, then said 'Don't hold back, Todd - tell us what you really think..."
