Yes, Texas is out, and we're down to 19.  So it might be a good time to remind you that they're within smelling distance of the Money:

1  £47,530
2  £31,600
3  £19,750
4  £14,220
5  £10,270
6   £7,900
7   £6,320
8   £4,700
9   £3,200
10 £2,370
11 £2,060
12-14  £1,740
15-16  £1,430

This is one of the best structures I've come across. Excellent stuff from Yogi and the team.

Smarter than the average bear...

although I've heard the average bear isn't too smart.

Henning Granstad (in the cut-off) bets 10.5k on a flop .

Ned Flanders, in the big blind, folds showing a .

Henning exposes pocket aces.

Do you think he was ahead?

With the blinds at 1,000/2,000 Thewy is getting shorter, but could still pass after raising to 6,000 when Henning (right on his left) made it 20k to go preflop.  Julian showed the Ace, got shown the .  Looks like Mr. Granstad gets YoYo's respect... almost unimaginable!

Elsewhere Mike Lacey plays it safe when Iwan raises about 3,500 from under the gun.  Something must have seemed fishy to Mike, as he passed showing the (kicker Six).  He gets a flash of the old

It's show and tell hour here at Blackpool, with everyone getting rewarded with sneaky peeks at the uncalled hands..

Here on the left we have a cheerful Nigel Turver dressed for summer (in Miami Beach) and on the right Bluesquare qualifier 'Honest' John Exley, who looks like he's kind of subtly pointing at his neighbour.

Also, notice that everyone who makes the most gets more than their entry fee back... which people have been moaning a lot about recently. Shows that people ARE listening.

Double Chance Freezeout, 30 minute clock. (As it's a 1 day thingy). Don't know the starting chips though.

Am playing an amazingly well-structured comp on Blue Square right now, 30 minute clock, we been playing nearly an hour & a half, & blinds are only 50-100! Which is my excuse for a mini-chirp, I'm Chip Daddy with 8 left. Though I suppose some smart Alec will point out that there were only 14 runners.....

A shame though - a $150 Freezeout, with $1,000 added, & a 30 minute clock - & only 14 runners. Guess not everyone likes the same things, but I'd play these all day & all night given the chance. Quality field, if small, with Lovejoy in close 2nd giving me all kinda grief.
