should be an awesome event and a high roller event, will be intersting to see how many enter. If there is any downside to the UKIPT tour its the low buy ins for regular tour players a high roller event might attract more big name players. I will play main event and high roller if I get knocked out.

I`m sure things will pick up as the tour progresses.I spoke at length with David Abrams at Blackpool last GUKPT festival there and was impressed by the enthusiasm and drive that people like David,Stuart and yourself are putting into the tour this year I am sure it will pay dividends.
If you look at the depth of British talent that has established itself during 2010 it has to be said that the GUKPT has been the breeding ground for a lot of these players. The UKIPT may be the party tour but I feel the GUKPT is defiantly the players tour and long may it continue Da Bookie will be in Manchester for leg 1 see you there.

Just arrived at the Radisson flew into Galway from Manchester no problem. There is no question that the event is going ahead with a 250,000 Euro Guarantee. A great venue and going to be a great event for all who can get here.
Da Bookie will be in the bar from 6pm if anyone fancies a Guinness or 3 .

The great thing about season long leaderboards is that it takes a good consistant player to win it. So if some fish beats your Kings with say Jack Ten in say Manchester you can still come back and win it.
Well played mate I know you will make the most of it, see you in Galway.
101  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: £18,900 Overlay for new £300 Deepstack on: September 19, 2010, 01:56:51 AM
Woke up this morning and had a choice carry on reading devilfish`s new book or go to DTD for the £300 as usual I lost the coinflip!!! But it has to be said DTD is as always at the cutting edge of U.K. poker and I`m sure if you press on with a big guarantee next month you will not have the same overlay. Best of luck and i look forward to playing at DTD as always later in the year.

As I am also a newcomer to blonde I can vouch for my awop mate Gaz chad. He is indeed a fun character but is and i`m sure he will not mind me saying subject to the occasional over indulgence in the liquid interpretation of the Eucharist.
