happy to peel one here this deep
raise/getting it in is fine, but you arent going to be ahead of anything except a FD/SD pair combo (which you have the FD crushed obv) - but the hand combos make it unlikely.
The rest of the hands you are getting it in against have you beat now and your non FD outs probs dead too (ie 2pr no good).
However if you get it in you are scooping a monster pot if you hit

Hard for you or mp3 to rep too many nut hands, pretty much AJ/KJ for him and QT as well for you. I like a raise here, but we get him off worse, and he bets here a lot when checked to, but when we actually get it in we are crushed. If we peel one, we put ourselves in a tough spot, because he can barrel quite easily. Really tough spot which perhaps shows why peeling pre isn't that great. I guess raise/get it in, we have decent fold equity, and he might cram weaker draws in otf, because we don't rep that much.

Given how aggro the guy who bets in position was i elected to raise!
MP1 then goes into the tank for over 20 seconds and elects to call. After checking the flop and taking so long to call I expected him to show up with a pair + gutshot and just couldn't let it go on the flop.
I jammed the turn and he went into the tank again for the rest of his bank. I wasn't sure on the line I had taken but I don't think I can check given the weakness he has shown!
Flop
: (t13000) J
, A
, K
(3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks,
MP2 bets t6000
,
Hero raises to t18569
, UTG+1 calls t18569,
1 fold
Turn
: (t56138) 7
(2 players)
Hero bets t41403 (All-In)
, UTG+1 calls t41403
River
: (t138944) Q
(2 players, 1 all-in)
Total pot:
t138944

If he's been aggro just call down. He'll barrel your cards aswell.

What are your reasons for peeling oop with A3 playing 50 bigs this deep in a comp? Just curious, in truth I don't see how it will ever become profitable, all you do is put yourself in a tough spot every time, when there are much better spots to increase your stack. Also if your peeling, then I would now take the line of peeling the flop, trying to get to a cheap showdown unless I hit turn.

this
Basically you flop an A you have no idea where you're at except you're usually behind! This flop is your dream flop basically but you should just keep your decisions simple and muck pre.

I am looking to play it pretty much like a small pair, looking to smash the flop and win a big pot. Sometimes we flop an ace and don't know where we are but we can proceed with caution and vs MP3 we are ahead most of the time.

Aren't we likely to be behind MP3 given that he's elected to call a raise? I'd have thought we're likely to be ahead of the original raiser but I'd expect MP3 to have a better potential hand, quite possibly including a better ace.
