Deal, but with only 53 playing on day 1A at the moment my 375ish may be a bit off the mark!!

59 regged now according to live updates, probs will be quite a lot of late reg's but 375 is def not gonna happen.

I thought they had 120 online qualifiers. All tomorrow?

Luckily I have just binked a seat on DTD, so decision taken out of my hands and will be playing regardless. Second thinly veiled of the day

I'm out, managed to get 90,000 chips in on a flop of   Two Diamonds holding   , 3 way pot and 3 bet pre, check raised all in and got called by   ...............previous to that lost a 80k pot with   v   , all in preflop, i think I may not have adjusted to their structure that well!

Actually, I had fun although not a initial fan of the structure, this would have been a good comp if;

1. Poker 770 had not changed the date 5 times and then set a date with only 3 weeks notice!
2. Had put a GTE of greater that £0 on it
3. Had had a quicker clock on Day 1's, then reverted to 77 minutes on day 2
4. Advertised the event in decent media
5. Ran a decent satelitte program on Ipoker for last 3 months
6. Sent us some branding earlier than 2 weeks before the event

I guess they will get 200-250 runners so a £100k ish prize pool, their qualifiers and pros/vip players are in tomorrow's Day 1b, but this could have been such a better attended event if they had done any of the above, which we advised them from the outset.

I AM OUT .
1st ) too long
2nd) no value because they paying 15%
        of the field.
3rd)  if they get 230 runners , 1st may only
         get 40k . That's for 4 days of poker.

So i am out. Gl to those that play.

No horse in either mate? I heard that your chip shop makes more than 10k a day do can see why you would not bother for £40k. Smiley

Got to get more than 230 runners today alone with the online qualifiers

duno how i only got 203k. could and prob should of been like 400. Had a real soft table and apart from 3 decentish players, the rest were pretty awful.
Structure was a big slow for me, yesterday was such a fking grind. But its hard to pls all the people all the time :-)

Lost 180,000 pot on penultimate hand of night after grinding 10 hours.
A-A versus K-K, king first card.
Didn't look happy and probably still mumbling profanities under his breath.

Disappointed with numbers. Will prob put people off playing Day 1B.
Am guessing many people choose between this and the monthly.
Monthly is cheaper, shorter, and requires less 'days off' for the 9-5ers. And has guarantee! Easy choice.
Loved the structure, but Poker770 could have surely put some sort of guarantee on it. Maybe not €770,000.

Rob: guy who had you all in = chip leader and running like God at the Olympics. :-0
