There will definitely by rooms mate but the special rate deal ended yesterday, if you're persuasive though you may still get the rate.

The special rate at the Marriot was £80 per night per room, now it is still £80 for a single occupant but £90 for a shared room. Not too much difference.

Im not sure Mr F....i did try to put the promo code from the front of this thread in, but it didnt like it so I gave up.

Ive booked for the Saturday and Sunday...no breakfast (cos they prob dont serve it at midday)

£34.00 per night for a single.

Doubles start at £39.00 a night but book on the web site as this is cheaper than calling them direct.

Hope this helps   Smiley

If anyone is interested and still needs to book Marriot have just mailed me a promo code for staying in the Birmingham marriot this weekend...

When reserving online, please include MEB in the corporate/promotional box. To reserve by phone, call 0800 221 222 and ask for Marriott eBreaks. Or, call one of our worldwide reservation centres.

It can be used by anyone.  Rate is 64 plus VAT per room /night

Crickey, that's a lot cheaper than before. How did you qualify for that code?
