PS - Try to imagine what IKB might think if he could see that 2nd photo. Proud, or what? What an extraordinary man, & so much of his legacy is in Bristol, including of course the GWR, & Bristol Temple Meads, the Bridge, & SS Great Britain.

And finally, in case the young man who started the thread thinks we have gone a little off topic, here is the subject of his thread.

Just a personal opinion, of course, but in my view, far & away the worst run & managed Licensed Poker Venue in the UK it has been my misfortune to visit, though I am sure it has improved since I last visited, and if they are to host a UKIPT, I wish them well.

The cardroom is on the 2nd floor, accessed by a tiny lift. It's a Schindler Lift, incidentally, or that's what my records have it List-ed as.
