Had a fun day today at Musselburgh races and a quick meet up with MickyP.

Nothing great in the pics but it's good practice.

Mine doesn't look like that Geo...

I think if you go to Tools>Effects after you have put some vids on the timeline, it will come up with a big set of effects to choose from, including pan and zoom (Daniel's pan?). You just choose the effect you want, and drag and drop it on to the clip you want, or pic you want, in the timeline. You can drag about 4/5 effects on to one clip. Right click to edit/remove/reorder them. There are many many more effects you can download as packs from the net for WMM, including greenscreen (great fun).

Love the races clip Geo, feels like I'm there. Nice soundtrack too.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me i didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life.

Yep. Thanks for that. Loads of effects, but no pan in my version unfortunately.

Went out for a walk today and took some shots.  Didn't get any wildlife shots - saw the buzzard but he was too far away to snap.

Here goes:

Very nice kin. Are these 'Sensational'? I'm guessing not, from the depth of field, unless yours can adjust it and mine can't.

Very, very good Kin. In fact they're that good one might think a professional had taken them.

You'd be wrong!  Professional tuition though, to help a complete noob get the settings right.

Managed to get out and about again yesterday - to Ullapool.

Still just with the phone - need to invest in a proper camera, not doing the Highlands justice.

Last one not such a good pic, but spectacular location. Corrieshalloch Gorge. Not quite the scale of the Grand Canyon, but a pretty scary viewing platform nonetheless - a lot further down than it looks.
