Meanwhile, whilst we were all getting a headache from constant "oi oi's" from Table Shallow-Camel, they were dining & drinking a tad better.

Even worse, they got a bloody discount.

Shallow even tipped our waitress a whole bottle of bubbly. Incredibly, she is on work experience & she is 80 years old.

Was a bit weird when the girl from the Tote started shoving tenners up people's noses,

Shame you didn't get a picture of Martha (the waitress) giving Dubai a kiss and a cuddle.

I was too busy sulking, we were backing 4/6 losers (Ed has "connections") & you lot were backing 12/1 winners.

I'll never forgive any of you. Or Ed.

Value pie courtesy of Bernie (tipped at , went off 7/2), but, as we know, value pie isn't the most fulfilling dinner. I realised on the journey home I went through the card without a single winner, pretttty strong!!

I wouldn't forgive me either to be fair, though more for the dull colour the troos I sported than my errant tipping!

Think I backed one winner (4/5) from 4 bets.

Meanwhile - no names, because what happens in Las Wimbledon has to stay in Las Wimbledon, but rumour has it, one of our lot made more in 1 x 42 second dog race than Fred has made in 18 months.

Pleasure to meet u all, a disappointing lack of weirdos, everyone was very normal and good fun. Well up for a second installment, please don't make it dogs again, they're so boring! Let's go horse racing, the double whammy of more fun and it's during the day so plenty of time for a few sherbets afterwards, or a game of poker. There is an NBA game in January but I don't think enough Freddies like their hoopies?
