When Andy Black was last in Vegas 6 years ago, he had such a bad time, he trotted off to Tibet to become a Buddhist Monk... as you do, sort of thing... Now it has to be said, we all had a jolly good laugh at his expense... Latest news is that the monestry now has a two year waiting list from disollusioned poker players...last seen alive in Vegas.

Here's a story one or two of you may like - this happened two mnutes ago.

Conor is sitting there minding his own business, when John Juanda wanders across from another table and says to him..........

"I like your chances  Sir, you have a good game".

What about THAT then?

Every time somebody goes out or a big pot is won there is all manner of whooping.  The spectators (behind the press walkway, behind the actual tournament area) are all getting very excited.  The losing guy gets a nice round of applause but I can't help think that the audience-participation shrieking at outdraws and the like is a little unsportsmanlike.  The walk of shame is kind of paved with money though, so that must be some consolation.
