With 3 nut outs and 4 under cards to the board I'm out. Mind you, I was out pre to the 3b, looking forward to hearing the thoughts behind the cold call.

Agree with this 100% but if I have already called with that hand pre , I will stick it in . I played them aswell and MadTurk is very aggro . He probably will have Aces DS or even bare here .

It never gets me in trouble but then I can never see me winning a big pot with that starting hand.

Why do you put yourself through this pain?

Enlighten us LilD.

It's another one of those hands where because of pre flop play every single decision after is going to be marginal. I am presuming you read Peterstone12 to be having no more action in the hand and stacking off v Turk? As we know he won't be folding?

In one way this as easy as this hand will ever play due to Turks bet so for that we should be thankful. Still looks like a fold now even though I would be so pissed to play this hand pre it may look too pretty now. Could be up against AAQ5 and 7789? Don't fancy my chances v either let alone both.

If you have some sort of read that you are HU with Turk then fire away?

But then again f that cos you have no hand yet. So if you hit you win yes? So we want peterstone in? But so many of our outs are non nut.

Why go through all this. Fold pre.

Come on D. What's this all about?

I'm with gouty.

1) Why are we even in the hand?

2) Why give ourselves all these difficult decisions? No matter how hard we hit the flop with that hand, we will always be at tremendous risk.

3) Personally, I (try to) avoid unforced errors, like getting involved with this kind of rubbish. Simple is best. I wanna chill at the table, not earn myself a migraine.

PS - Who was playing on your account Dave? I refuse to believe that one of my PLO gurus plays starting hands of that nature. Someone very wise once repeatedly told me, over many years, "PLO is a game where we want big cards".

Hi Frankie.

It is called "Stan", & my quote were the closing lines of the lyrics.

You must be an Eminem fan, surely? Well Dave IS Eminem, I suspect. He is.

Ha! You know I considered 4betting preflop :-P

You are all right though preflop is too loose as if demonstrated by the fact we flopped an OESD and a FD and we had to fold, further emphasising the point that big pots in PLO is about big cards - Hi there Tikay :-P

Now spose this was just a single raised pot...otb with this hand you calling/folding/3betting ??

I'm a sucker for double paired hands!
