Loving the light long exposure pictures.  I think there could be a future topic in those.

Some incred pics on here today!! Don't know anything about light exposures and stuff, only have a cheap compact camera. But defo like the look of painting with light. Will be watching some youtube tutorials on that. The missus gave me one of my bday pressies early today which was a pair of walking boots, so went out for a nice long walk, didn't get many photos at all, But a couple if the interesting ones are:

A spitfire which i go past every single day.
An outdoor canvas and my photo of what it depicts.
A solitary daffodil in the middle of some beer cans and crisp packets

Under a bridge I also found what i can only assume was a homeless person's sleeping bag and rucksack which i had a sneaky peak in, I also climbed a tree and stroked some horses but those pics didn't make the cut.

Great job, loving the spitfire especially.

Loads of daffies here too.

My mum's mate is going absolutely mental, he's the biggest daffodil farmer in the UK, maybe Europe. The weird weather, very very mild, has brought them out 2 weeks early. [ ] He has the workers to harvest them just now. 1/4 already in the bin.

Lessons learned:
Rocks are slippy
Bright sunshine+long exposures don't really mix
Waiting for sun to pass+lowering ISO+adjusting Aperture allow long waterfall exposures even in decent light.
Effects: Flickr: Vignette, HDR, Orton, Focal zoom, Focal B&W, Fancy Focus

Try holding your sunglasses in front of your lens for longer exposures in sunlight.

Nice work btw.

Good going Tom. I've heard that strapping a camera on long exposure to your dash and driving around at night can produce neat results too.

Milli's reminded me of this.

Sleeping bag art. The security lady at the Tate congratulated me on not kicking it like everyone else.
Looks normal, is cast entirely of bronze.

"Gavin Turk's Nomad is a dirty sleeping bag worth thousands of pounds. This commonplace object has been replicated by the artist as an expensive bronze sculpture, confronting viewers' perceptions of worth and worthlessness."
