Scenario

Hand 1

Very drunk guy, utg +1,  shoves blind for 360, folds to us in bb
playing 325.

He is 100% blind and "ready to go home"

We call with?

Hand 2

Same scenario but we are in sb with 325, and bb has 225 and is competant

depends how comfortably rolled for the game you are imo.

the better rolled you are the closer to perfectly you should call.

By perfectly I mean K2+ Q5+, J7+, T8+ and pair or Ax. which are all >50% vs random hands.

in the other scenario, I reckon the guy overcalls a range of A9+, KJs+, 77+ or something? he wakes up with these about 10% of the time so im shaving the bottom 10% of above range and calling like K4+, Q8+, J9+ and all pairs and Ax

Rec player, money doesn't matter, but really calling off T8?

Hand 1 was KTo and Hero thought it was right on the boundary for calling

T8s yeh

   equity    win    tie          pots won    pots tied
Hand 0:    47.666%     45.84%    01.83%        3846142844    153141492.00   { random }
Hand 1:    52.334%     50.51%    01.83%        4237863772    153141492.00   { T8s }

Even T7s is 50.6%

If money doesn't matter, what else is there to consider apart from the maths?

mind you, you have to take into account that the whole table as folded meaning villain is more likely to have BIG CARDS than if it was just a heads up hand

Presume these are all suited as J7o is only 49.68% vs a random hand.

I'd take any hand i was sure was comfortably plus ev. This is purely a bankroll size/comfort level/tilt question. Alex may feel calling with any hand that is slightly +ev is correct, which it is for him. However, someone might tilt their nuts off if they lose this hand, meaning they should call much tighter etc etc.

I'd prob call any Ax, K4s+ K7o+ Q8s+ Q9o+ J9s+ any pair in theory. However I'd use the base as Q7o being breakeven and punt from there depending on how much I'm stuck Smiley

Only consideration is hero prefers to win on night than lose, but that's all. Just wants to make a reasonable play. Called KT but really tanked it!

2nd hand has A2 and knows   Bb hasnt looked at hand yet. Call?

Calling both. There's the added value of it dissuading people from f#cking with you too.
