Great reportage Kev

I watched the play 3 handed for a couple of levels. Dino looked to be playing very strong final table poker.
Pisshead Pete to Dino's right was opening something close to 50% of the pots. Dino choose his spots and succesfully came over the top of him about 10 times. It was impressive stuff.
When he got knocked out, he showed a lot of class. There's a level head there that will bink a big live comp or two at some point. Destined for much greater things than a third in Aberdeen.

Hi Guys,
Really nice coverage Kev from both you and the GUKPT site team, was great meeting you all. I can honestly say that that series was the most well run and at the same time fun festival I have every played in, top quality from everyone to do with the casino, the tour and of course the players. Well done to the Aberdeen Angus, he played very well in the final and deserved the win. Mr Fisherman tho lived up to his name, IMO he was playing very well even when pissed out his head on the sat night....
Can't wait for the next one

Hi Kev
Thanks for the great posts and just managed to get my behind out of bed and read the blog and I almost hurt myself laughing about the hotel. My appoligies on behalf of Aberdeen for that.
Kev just a request could you e-mail the photo's you took to the casino so I can do a wall of fame and shame (guess where Iron's is going).
I would like to add my thanks to the players and staff for making the festival a success and it was great to meet you again.
As for Dino having watched how he plays I have to agree that it is only a matter of time till he wins a biggie and hits true Black Belt status.
I really enjoyed running the festival and hope you all enjoyed yourselves here.
Hope to see you all next year.
Jim
P.S. Martin if you keep eating my card out of points I'm going to get sacked lol.

Have just read through the thread, thank you to everyone, both lurkers and posters, who dropped by at some point to follow the updates. Also a massive thankyou to Tank for the live rail. It goes without saying that i was extremly dissapointed not to win the comp as you don't find yourself in spots like that often. It looks a lot like i totally blew up having had a third of the chips in play nine handed and half the chips when three handed play began. Truth is i misplayed one hand and lost a 60-40.
Thanks to Kev for doing the updates, The Aberdeen staff and the GUKPT staff for running a great series.
