Full chip counts will follow at the end of the break

I gather Tony Phillips won a big pot just before the break with a set of deuces, will try and find out more

Buffet wise..steak and ale pie followed by Strawberry Mousse

Pie 5 stars out of 10 for slightly over-acidic flavour to the ale part of the pie. Vegetables very pleasant including corking roast potatoes though

Mousse pleasant six stars out of 10. My fave is Butterscotch Angel Delight actually, when it comes to mousse flavouring and concoctions

Only one portion of each. Watch out Newcastle Kebab houses later.

Alan McLean raises to 7,000 in mid position and Jimmy Morgan flat calls in the big blind.

He pushes, looking like a pre-mediated plan for after the flop

As you can see from the picture below, his timing was a bit off!

Alan was holding the nuts

Henning Granstad and Willie Haughey

Henning is no longer amongst the chip leaders whereas Willie definitely is, right up there

Glenn Williams all-in for 22,000 with 55, Sam Trickett calls with AK.

In a rare reversal of poker fortunes AK misses and Sam loses a race

Steve Jelinek has lost some relative ground today, as his 60,000 stack is now dwarfed by Phillips and to a lesser extent Trickett on the same table. Finn Stewart sitting alongside Phillips now has 100,000+

Sam Trickett raises to 8,000 on the button

Finn Stewart makes it 24,000 in the big blind

Sam immediately pushes all in for 97,000 more

    Finn contemplates

"You did that straight away didn't you?" he enquires

"I've got a good hand, what are you going to do?" says Sam

    Finn passes after several minutes

Tony Phillips pipes up "be my hero, show a deuce"

    Sam flips

"that's as good as showing a deuce" says another player
