right im copying music from u tube then converting it to a mp3 then putting it on a disc all ok
the disc plays on my desktop,.,.,.,
.but wont play in anything else tried a few dvd players no joy,.,.,.,..,.,.any ideas please

in windows explorer - right click and click "finish CD" or "close CD" or something like that

it should complete the burn and allow it to play on a normal player - sony players can be a littel stubborn for some reason thou

actually it really fascinated me as a kid - cause the box wasnt symetrical - where as bryant and may had it on both sides

Are you burning the tracks as mp3's? If so that's probably the issue.
You need to create a music cd not a data one.
You can do that in iTunes and windows media player.

I love these stories. I remember on a marketing course being told that shampoo manufacturers doubled their profits by putting the word 'repeat' on the instructions.

Alka seltzer was the same, on their adverts they used to show one tablet being dropped into a glass. Then they changed it to 2 and everyone starting using 2 tablets. Genius! (That was from Malcolm Glaswells 'What the dog saw' book.)
