Playin £25 Double chance at Gala Casino, 60 or so runners.

7.5k Point stack + Double Chance, 25players left, average stack around 34k.

I have 39k. Blinds at 1/2k

Hero has 60k.

On the table i have a fairly loose image limping into pots a lot, folding when raised but only really showing down a big hand at showdown. Ive been fairly passive in blinds and have not really tried to be a defender.

The action gets checked around to the SB who limps in for 1k, i tank for a minute, decide to make a play + raise it to 4k.

I have  .

SB tanks for a mo, then throws in 4k.

Board come's,  two spades .

SB tanks for a minute, bets 8.5k, i state raise, + make it another 25k, am All-in.

Hero, tanks literally for about 4minutes, calls + tables   two hearts .

he makes trips on the turn + its all over?

I was litterally stunned when he tabled his hand, ive been thinkin about the way it played out over the last week + have tried putting myself in his shoes, but i still cant find a call........

Anyone shed any light onto this call??

Cheers......

Ive thought about that, if he put me on AK would he want to risk 50% of his stack finding out if hes right or wrong? I could easily have an overpair in that spot, or pocket 3's, maybe even A4, A5, too risky IMO.......

What are you looking for?

Someone to say that the guy who knocked you out was a donk, pat you on the head and say you're really good at the pokerz.

We charge 50p for that sort of service.

I would like someone who answers this question successfully to explain Fibonacci numbers to me and why they occur frequently in nature.

Not at all, im just looking for someone who's a bit more expirienced than me (which doesnt take a lot) to give me his/her opinion on how he called, his probable mindset, where he thought he was in the hand etc???

Not some wise a** response what just wastes my time reading it....... Ta

Cas-Az why cast yourself in the role of Villain in this mystery, and your oppo as the Hero? Do you play online while stroking a white cat and cackling like that villain out of Danger Mouse, or was it Bond? You need to be the hero here man. Also, Longy, the villain doesn't limp-call a 4k raise oop with 10-2 cos he has readz. He calls just....because. So the wise ass responses are actually worth reading and reflecting upon because they perfectly illustrate inexplicable chaos. You can't explain mental chaos properly and any attempt to do so incurs a cost of 50p.

After playing 10-2 that way your oppo cold only be cast as the Hero if his name was Spewtastic Boy. Don't make the mistake of thinking he played it well just cos he was somehow right on this occasion. If you had a tight image and your oppo was ok at poker you would have played your hand well. As it was your image was bad and your oppo was worse so you didn't. Even so you still played it better than villain.
