hi snoops, who's playing then?

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

And of course, there are some real big names here today.

Essy Jahanpour (13 letters)
Fari Badiemansour (16 letters)
Maurice Nicholson (16 letters)

But how about this for a name...

I kid you not, but we have a player here today called D Vandyke?

Incidentally, this is a double chance freezeout where you get 6,500 + 6,5000. That 13k in total (duh), so it could be a long weekend...

Stu Rutter is already moving and shaking. He just shoved in his remaining 2,525 into a pot with its fair share of purple chips (thousands). The board read A-8-4-5 and Stu took it down when Richard Jenking in seat 10 mucked his cards. But whilst Stu scoops the chips, Richard is down to 2.8k.

James Atkin has lost aroun 4,000 chips after clashing with Zaib Gehan.

Board =

James had for the straight, but Zaib, who had a pretty decent hand himself, managed to river a flush with to take the pot.

Stu Rutter has suddenly decided that now is the time to take his extra chips, to which Peter Smythe (just a few doors down) responds by saying, "Me too please, can't have him bullying the table."

The formidable Steve Jelinek (who is sharing a table with one Mr Tony Kendall) is already up to 22k with his rebuy ticket still in front of him. He's even got a yellow chips. Wooooo weeeeee, as Brucie (or his audience, rather) would say.

Some of those chips came from a straight versus two pair jobby. Steve held Q-9 to his opponents J-t on a board of 6-8-T-J. No Jack or Ten on the River and Steve has to be the new chip leader.

Joe Grech has already lost his first lot of 6.5k.

Didn't quite catch the hand, but he may be distracted by the rather alluring woman on the front of the maagzine he's reading. At first, due to the model on the front, I thought it was 'Men Only', but as Joe moved his arm I realised that it was 'Gambling Only'. Boy, how poker's changed over the years...
