Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Post by: matt674 on December 28, 2006, 03:03:44 PM on a more serious note (though not a cash game player) maybe a reraise on the flop in the first situation to find out where you stand and on the second one maybe a rereraise preflop?
Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Post by: byronkincaid on December 28, 2006, 03:05:24 PM 1st one, what range did u put him on when he re-raised preflop? AQ+ TT+ Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Post by: scotty2hatty on December 28, 2006, 03:12:54 PM if u hadn't shown his hand i would have guessed he had QQ. i suppose u can say he played it well. did his bet on the flop rule out AA or QQ in ur mind? (i'm asking these questions to help myself btw).
Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Post by: MadYank on December 28, 2006, 03:33:13 PM hand 1 you have to bitch slap bet that flop or at least check raise. Once he lays the repop on you you can safe fold knowing you are well owned.

Once he lays the repop on you you can safe fold knowing you are well owned. Yeah thats what i meant when i said maybe a reraise on the flop in the first situation to find out where you stand Monkey's still not too well up on all this poker jargon yet though :( Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Post by: matt674 on December 28, 2006, 03:36:20 PM you are well owned. at the risk of monkey sounding silly - should this not be pwned? thats what they all shout at me anyway :'( Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Post by: MadYank on December 28, 2006, 03:50:14 PM you are well owned. at the risk of monkey sounding silly - should this not be pwned? thats what they all shout at me anyway :'( LOL YES pwned But only if you are in a 2p2 sort of mood. :) Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Once he lays the repop on you you can safe fold knowing you are well owned. Took the words out of my mouth. The old bitch slap is quite clearly the answer. Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Post by: snoopy1239 on December 29, 2006, 12:21:08 AM 1st one, what range did u put him on when he re-raised preflop? AQ+ TT+ A-K, A-Q, T-T, J-J, Q-Q, K-K, A-A I think you can escape this, Q-Q, A-A and A-Q have you cooked, whilst most of the other hands will probably slow down on the Turn. Also, I can't imagine too many players moving all-in on the River with anything you are beating. Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Post by: byronkincaid on December 29, 2006, 02:16:34 AM c/c is about 100x better than bet or c/r you get away from it on the turn or the river? Title: Re: Get me out of these two. Post by: temp0r on December 29, 2006, 10:09:23 AM re-raise more. on the flop of the first one. and pre-flop on the second one.
