Post by: Colchester Kev on January 02, 2007, 02:57:37 PM
Following on from the party poker thread, I thought we could have some fun with this.

no one to play with ? ...theres always party poker dot com.

Cant watch telly without seeing those ads all bloody night, must have cost a fortune.

if we at blonde were gonna do some TV ads  ... "Come on MUG, bring it to blonde if you think you are good enough"     "Play on blonde or GFY"    "free money on blonde, tikay is online"

Over to you lot .... lets hear your blonde ad tag lines :D

PS. Saatchi & Saatchi dont even think about nicking those ... they are copyrighted :)

The scene is an old folks' home communual lounge. A kindly old man is flicking through a copy of the Yellow Pages, and finds what appears to be a number he is after. He gently picks up the telephone, dials the number slowly and waits with baited breath (well, deep breathing) for his call to be answered. Finally, it is. "Good morning, this is Hardy and Sons Antique Books, how may we help you?". The old man flashes a toothless grin: "Oh good morning, I wondered if you may have a copy of Fishing, a book by T K Kendall............ You do? Oh marvellous! My name?" The man pauses for a dramatic moment..... "My name is Tony Kendall." He ends the call, cups the phone receiver in his hand and sighs in satisfaction.

The action then cuts to the next day and a knock on the door as the postman presents Mr Kendall with his dusty tome on Fishing. The voiceover declares. Good old Yellow Pages, making sure anyone who wants to know the art of fishing before visiting Blonde can still get hold of the original literary masterpiece.

The end.
