Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: TEX FITZ on February 08, 2007, 09:27:11 AM LOL, they are the same in the house.
After several attempts at gettin them to tidy the bedroom, (after 90 seconds they seem to think it's done), i said yesterday " OK kids bedroom tidy, then play on comp/ps2/xbox/gb/nintendo/psp/DS WHATEVER, but don't worry too much coz i'm going to the tip tomorrow so just leave on the floor what you dont want and i'll take it away " HEY PRESTO - walked in this morning and i can actually see the carpet sending GF a photo of carpet to let her know she can hoover the bedroom floor when she gets in from work now, wheres that kettle ? Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: littlemissC on February 08, 2007, 09:35:59 AM my kids are at school,it didnt start snowing till 7am.they have never got dressed for school so fast, lol.
Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: Sheriff Fatman on February 08, 2007, 09:44:29 AM I can't get my car off the drive now (although I could at 7am).
It's on a slight downslope and, even after digging away the snow, I can't get enough traction to get over the hump without the car sliding ever closer to the next door neighbours one. 12 inches backwards is accompanied by a 2 foot slide to the left! Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: Rod Paradise on February 08, 2007, 09:46:51 AM Cat litter under the tyres will give a better grip.
A cat under the tyres won't though. Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: KingPoker on February 08, 2007, 09:49:14 AM Cat litter under the tyres will give a better grip. A cat under the tyres won't though. You'd be suprised how much traction you get off a cat, try it! LMFAO Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: Sheriff Fatman on February 08, 2007, 09:55:11 AM Cat litter under the tyres will give a better grip. A cat under the tyres won't though. Pity I don't own a cat so I need the car to buy cat litter! Oh the vicious circles that life deals us!!!! Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: KingPoker on February 08, 2007, 09:57:31 AM The second choice would be salt. I assume table salt has the same properties a sea salt that they use on the roads.
Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: Dingdell on February 08, 2007, 09:58:15 AM My car is completely covered - snow so deep I can't see the wheels - I live at the end of a road and I think it's all drifted towards me!! There is over a foot of it all around - on way home last night I bought a new scraper and some de-icer - I don't think that's going to be good enough!
Feel a bit guilty as my PA walked into work so she's spent the last hour taking camcellation calls and is now going home - I've got a day off!!!!!! ;yippee; ;yippee; ;yippee; ;yippee; ;yippee; ;yippee; ;yippee; ;yippee; ;yippee; ;yippee; So - it's good news for all decent players - the easy money is scouring the sites wondering where and what to play during the day..................any suggestions? Or else stay home and play poker (probably the original intention ;) _ Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: KingPoker on February 08, 2007, 10:00:55 AM we should all have a special snowed in 5$ stt on blonde
Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: ariston on February 08, 2007, 11:27:54 AM not spam I promise but one of the sites has put on a special snowed in and stuck at home mtt this afternoon with a couple of grand added to a $5 MTT. Great marketing ploy? We don't have any snow yet so I am not sure if I am allowed to play ;)

Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: Zebediah on February 08, 2007, 01:54:37 PM It was important to get to work today, my boss is weird like this.
He likes to emphasize getting in and working hard even on days like this, first time he has been hands on in about a year. Almost got stuck in a ditch, then dented the bonnet. Missus emailed me pic of Evie's first ever day in snow to cheer me up. Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: Poppet7 on February 08, 2007, 02:19:02 PM I hate snow!
Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: Colchester Kev on February 08, 2007, 02:21:32 PM Loved snow when i had a garden .... it made my tip look exactly the same as the old farts next door, who spent every waking hour tending it. :)
Title: Re: arent kids gullable lol in the snow Post by: Poppet7 on February 08, 2007, 02:24:14 PM I used to like it cos it meant getting a day off school to make snowmen... now I'm stuck in the house. Doh!
