I had to go and see to my little girl half way though! Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. Post by: doubleup on February 20, 2007, 11:35:58 PM hmmm I scored 109 but
a) I was watching the telly b) thought a some of the questions were very suspect e.g. Pros lose money from ATo in ealy position - Y/N - they don't lose anything with this hand and don't win anything because they don't play it.... The last question was the first hand on Rounders wtf - I put fold because Teddy KGB has Aces full. c) I'm probably crap.... Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. Good link. Usually hate these blimmin things though. They get you to answer loads of questions, then after best part of half an hours clicking, you have to fill in your e-mail address, complete a short survey, give them blood sample, credit card number, mother's maiden name, and your panty size to get any results. Ok maybe not all those things, but you know what I mean. Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. Post by: totalise on February 21, 2007, 01:43:12 AM 122

Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. Post by: thetank on February 21, 2007, 01:50:58 AM I just re-took the test.
Answered the same to all the questions that didn't involve a betting action. To all the betting action question.... I always picked all-in. If no all-in option available.... I picked raise And when it was just between fold and call... You guessed it, clicked on call. So the whole test took me about 60 seconds the 2nd time. Got 110 ;frustrated; ;frustrated; Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. I guessed most of them! lol Highest score I got was for the speed I did it in 97%!!! (I'm a fast guesser!) Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. Post by: Graham C on February 21, 2007, 10:26:49 AM Your Poker IQ is: 101
I'll avoid the 5/10 NL and above cash games although I'm sure I had a better read on my opponents than they gave me credit for ;) Oh, I'm rubbish at tournaments and playing from the blinds too :( Perhaps I should give up. Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. Post by: Graham C on February 21, 2007, 10:28:24 AM ha ha, everyone has an excuse for getting low scores :D
Better think of mine, I'm just inexperienced and those questions are all way above my average level so in fact, I did really really well :D Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. Got 110 ;frustrated; ;frustrated; I retook it and improved from 109 to 133....by giving the "obvious" answer rather than overthinking, I suppose that must be a lesson in itself. Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. Post by: Claw75 on February 21, 2007, 12:01:43 PM lol - I could have scored higher if I had guessed! I am now revelling in my low score - it means no one will be able to read me!!

There is no tiltabilty category. Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. Post by: sofa----king on February 21, 2007, 02:51:55 PM Your Computational Speed score of 90% is exceptionally higher than your average percentile score. This score is better than 99.62% of all persons taking this test.
i was quite pleased with my speed .,.,that was about it 129.,.,lol Title: Re: POKER IQ TEST-------really good and worth doing. Post by: SupaMonkey on February 21, 2007, 04:42:34 PM 121, my speed, blind play and play with big pairs lets me down but my tournament play is better than 98.5% of the people taking the test. Apparently i could be a low-mid stakes pro, but i'm a tournament monkey.

When the profile at the end of the test talks about profitability , the thing it doesnt (and probably can't) factor in, is game selection. For me, this is as important a contributor to profitability as any other factor. (It's the old chestnut about being the 9th best player in the world, but if you only ever play against the top 8 you will lose money). Therefore, if anyone scores less than 90, please can you PM me your screen name, the sites you play, limits played at, and times you normally play....................... Jak.
