Post by: ariston on October 05, 2005, 06:42:15 PM Burnley is the worthy favourite and is a kickin on the e/w market- free money blondites. Royalfish is a bit overpriced seeing his advantage in the online comps so may be worth a little bet. Atit at 5-1? you having a laugh Jonathan? Give the guy a chance to have a bet. ;)

Post by: AlrightJack on October 05, 2005, 06:45:53 PM I should also point out that participants are not allowed to back anyone other than themselves, so no backing JP Ian...
We may alter prices at some point, but we'll leave it for now. Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: Gamblor21 on October 05, 2005, 06:46:45 PM ok i won't!

Post by: JP on October 05, 2005, 08:33:59 PM I think i'll have a punt on myself Ian hehe. i've seen you play save your money give it to me and i'll put it on jen for you touché Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: Royal Flush on October 05, 2005, 08:40:47 PM After the beating Ian and JP just took in a limit session from the MASTER! I think they should both move out to 20-1 and i should move to evens!
Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: The Camel on October 05, 2005, 09:23:46 PM There is some massive value in this market.
I am very tempted to partake of a couple of wagers. Are all the players sure to play all the events? ie Are Blue Squirrel putting them in? Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: AlrightJack on October 05, 2005, 09:33:33 PM I think I know who you want to back Keith, more than happy to lay a few bets before we adjust any odds.
In case anyone hasn't spotted it, the online qualifier, who will have to have won an online league to take part must be good value at 14/1. Yes, the Squirrel are putting the players in to all events for as long as they remain in the competition. What do you think of the concept Keith? Congrats on the new arrival btw. Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: TightEnd on October 05, 2005, 10:20:44 PM AJ, Can I use money in my BlueSq poker account to back players here?
If so, how? There are two outstanding bets...no idea if they are the same two as keith is thinking of! Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: AlrightJack on October 05, 2005, 10:29:56 PM yes, u can, good luck
Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: Royal Flush on October 05, 2005, 10:40:05 PM Come on lads tell us all who you have backed!!
If i was able to i would stick a few quid on JP. And a few quid on the net qualifer. Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: TightEnd on October 05, 2005, 10:44:45 PM JP e/w, Nash to win
Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: Robert HM on October 05, 2005, 10:48:35 PM Nash! You surprise me. I know he is a great player, but when interviewed on 425 he says he doesn't like internet poker, many of the Comps are online, I think this will tell.
Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: TightEnd on October 05, 2005, 10:52:57 PM he's a peacock, anything with exposure, he brings his A game
7-1 is overpriced Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: Colchester Kev on October 05, 2005, 10:54:42 PM Burnley John at 9/2 ... no value
Chubbs at 6/1 again no value there Vidal at 5/1 more unpredictable than Burnley Johns watch ;) Flushy at 9's with his online results and recent form looks like a reasonable EW bet Jen at 10's could well suprise this lot, her results have been good in the few comps she has played and wont be intimidated by the blokes But if the last Colchester shilling had to be wagered it would have to go on Stuart Nash to Bring home the bacon. But for personal reasons i shall mostly be supporting John and Simon ;) Good luck to you all. Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: The Camel on October 06, 2005, 12:29:53 AM With no disrespect to any of the other players I think JP is massively overpriced.
He is, quite simply, the best young player I've played against anywhere. If he wants it badly enough he can go to the very top of the poker ladder. I would make him clear favourite to win this. I have had a little saver on Jen too. I've only played her once and she impressed me greatly. Very cool under pressure and deceptively aggressive. Too big at 10/1. Get on! I think I've talked myself into going in for more.... Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: Royal Flush on October 06, 2005, 12:51:43 AM Pitty i aint at 120-1 again eh keith!
Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: Gamblor21 on October 06, 2005, 02:33:48 AM Have to agree with keith... i like those bets! and also Stu Nash is one of the favs in my eyes!!!
Think my price was a mis-print it should read 50-1... Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: Dubai on October 06, 2005, 04:31:57 AM I played with JP a couple of times, im not usually impressed with anyone but as he is also same age bracket as me i was impressed and id make him near favourite in this field. Will certainly have a few quid.
Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: Scottish Dave on October 06, 2005, 05:04:36 AM Jack can i ask mate, does the online BS qualifier, need to pay for all the comps out of his/her pocker, or with BS pay for all the qualifiers tourneys, ie the £200 / £300 buy-ins?
Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: AlrightJack on October 06, 2005, 10:18:58 AM Dave,
It would hardly be much of a prize for winning an online league if you had topay for the entries yourself. Yes, BS covers buy ins (with certain terms and condistions applying) and expenses. Good luck! AJ Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: Ironside on October 06, 2005, 10:25:17 AM does the winner of the league get buy ins too ALL the events on the list or only till they get knocked out of the usual suspects?
Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: alanc on October 06, 2005, 10:54:27 AM Another question. Can anyone tell me the what the buy in is for the on-line league competions running from the 8th? Thanks.

I wish I had listened when people say that smoking stumps your growth - I may have been bigger than 5 foot 1 and a half (the half is important- especially when trying to get on the rides at the Pleaseure Beach) Title: Re: Unusual Suspects? Post by: byronkincaid on October 06, 2005, 05:19:39 PM So for the online league it doesn't matter whether it's a $50 of a $5 tourney you still get the same points? Also where can I read the Terms and conditions please?
