The microsite has been delayed but it will be up tomorrow.  However, the outright betting market is up, so, to start some controversy, here are the odds...

http://www.bluesq.com/bet?action=go_events&type_id=3315

'Burnley' John Falconer                                 9/2
Ian 'At-iT' Bradley                                        5/1
Joe 'The Joker' Grech                                 5/1
Simon 'The Edge' Nowab aka Chubby           6/1
Mickey 'The Legend' Wernick                      7/1
Stuart 'Final Table' Nash                              7/1
James 'Royal Flush' Dempsey                       9/1
Jen 'The Live Updater' Mason                     10/1
JP 'The Kid' Kelly                                      10/1
Blue Square 'The unknown' qualifier            14/1

Each way 1/5 the odds, 1,2,3

Burnley is the worthy favourite and is a kickin on the e/w market- free money blondites. Royalfish is a bit overpriced seeing his advantage in the online comps so may be worth a little bet. Atit at 5-1? you having a laugh Jonathan? Give the guy a chance to have a bet.  Wink

Here's the details of the challenge so you know what your doing your cash on...

Blue Square's Unusual Suspects Info

The Suspects

John Falconer
Stuart Nash
Mickey Wernick
Joe Grech
Simon Nowab
Jen Mason
Ian Bradley
JP Kelly
James Dempsey

The Concept

Blue Square’s Unusual Suspects is a unique poker challenge in which several established and up and coming poker players will compete for survival in a series of online and offline tournaments.

The competition will be split into six rounds. Each round will comprise a number of online and offline tournaments.

At the end of the first round the three suspects with the least number of points will be eliminated.

The remaining six suspects will be joined by the winner of the Blue Square’s Unusual Suspects Online Poker League to compete in the second round of events. Last longer points from Round one will not count towards the round two total.  The online league winner will be awarded points that equal the average bonus points (to the nearest whole point) from Round 1. At the end of the second round the three players with the least number of points will be eliminated.

The remaining four suspects will go on to compete in round three. All points will be carried forward from round 2 and will count towards the round three total.  At the end of round three the player with the least number of points will be eliminated.

The remaining three suspects will go on to compete in round four. All points will be carried forward from the previous rounds. At the end of round four the player with the least number of points will be eliminated.

The two remaining suspects will go on to compete in round five. Points will be carried forward from the previous rounds. At the end of the fifth round the player with the most points will be deemed to be the overall Blue Square’s Unusual Suspects winner and will take their seat at the EPT Finale in Monte Carlo.

I should also point out that participants are not allowed to back anyone other than themselves, so no backing JP Ian...

We may alter prices at some point, but we'll leave it for now.
