As I live near Gatwick this is the way I have generally gone as you can get from Gatwick to Cork on Ryan Air.
By the way, I'm registerd too :)up Title: Re: blondepoker Waterford Festival November: News thread Post by: Ironside on July 15, 2007, 02:38:04 PM Another option is gatwick to cork and drive from there - I've done the journey before and it's less than two hours from there. Title: Re: blondepoker Waterford Festival November: News thread Post by: Irishdenis on July 17, 2007, 09:00:46 PM Hi all,
Just to let you know... you can also get the ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare. Waterford is an hour,s drive from the ferry. Blonde are also trying to arrange not only for Sat's for these events but for folks to be able to buy in directly to the event on the site. This should make things easy for all. Kev I think you should do Sat's for more than the main event .... you lazy git. Title: Re: blondepoker Waterford Festival November: News thread Post by: ZZZZZZZROPE on July 17, 2007, 10:08:09 PM sounds really good, what at the sats likely to be ? $100? $200?

Can you arrange for the amount of hours in a day to be increased from 24 to 30 ?? I fully expect to be running sats for the main event and depending on demand ...MAYBE... a side event. On Monday I hopefully will have all the info I need to start planning the sats ... Maybe one in august and one in september with feeders to both. Maybe more if the demand is there. Hi Neill - can you please confirm that if I have pre-registered as a player i am playing? Bit concerned that the tournament has been over subscribed and that alternates are already planned - I have booked a flight and dont want to turn up and find I am playing as an alternate and may not even get a game. Please confirm what the official situation is on player numbers, sattelites entries already allocated but not won yet and alternates please. Many thanks Tracey Dell Title: Re: blondepoker Waterford Festival November: News thread Post by: Dewi_cool on October 22, 2007, 01:54:37 PM Thet ;) dont just let anyone in to Ireland you know ;) you have to drink Guinness

(and thats with fees and taxes included!) Well alright, almost. Flights (return) total £11.98 inc all fees and taxes. Title: Re: blondepoker Waterford Festival November: News thread Post by: Dewi_cool on October 22, 2007, 02:08:24 PM Can I point out the charge is for leaving england not for entering wales, and if you ask me it's very good value :D
Title: Re: blondepoker Waterford Festival November: News thread Post by: Dingdell on October 22, 2007, 02:18:28 PM A very quick answer from Ireland so thankyou Neill for that - answer is as follows:
U are a listed player Tracey and once this is paid for 2 hours before play u will be seated . The list is full but we always get no shows , I will make sure u will be seated u have my word on that all travelling uk players will be looked after . The Listed players have up until 5.30pm on the Friday to pay for the seat and after that the seats become released to those who have not pre-registered I can assure u 100% that your seat is guaranteed from this point , Neill (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=674) Kelly (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=674) Big Slick Events So if you're not a travelling Uk player and you get bumped......?! Just to confirm that all pre registerred names are guaranteed seats if they are paid for by 5.30 pm which is 2 hours before play . We have a contact number for the registration desk which can be used for our travelling UK and european players which is 00353877727307 . If by some chance that flights and traffic hold you up please be assured we will assist u in anyway possible and hold the seat if u call the Registration desk and explain your situation . The list stands at 340 with capacity of 320-330 . We always allow for no shows and Super sats which take up 50 seats , Pre registerred players will take some sat tickets whcih will obviously free up seats After this we will have alternates in place for the first 3 levels of play only and all players start with no penalty and a full starting stack , If u require further info please feel free to contact me directly at neill_kelly@hotmail.com Neill (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=674) Kelly (http://www.blondepoker.com/blondepedia/blondepedia_view_player.php?player_id=674) www.bigslickevents.net Title: Re: blondepoker Waterford Festival November: News thread Post by: Ironside on October 22, 2007, 04:14:00 PM my name is on the list

Ericstoner doesnt give his chips away easy 150/1 worth a few quid as I can imagine the headlines now if he goes and wins it!!
Couldn't see a price for the Duke but apparently he's 1/7 to dring the hotel dry of guinness.
