Title: You get less for Murder.,..... Post by: tikay on October 01, 2007, 02:26:35 PM Many congrats to Mr & Mrs Red - both blondes - on celebrating 30 yerars of marriage today. What a lovely couple they are, & I can truly say knowing them both has enriched my life, they really are the most wonderful couple you could ever wish to meet. Sometimes, if the "chemistry" betwen hubbie & wifey is not quite right, the wheels can come off when times are tough. You cannot begin to imagine the adversity those two have faced in their lifetime. They are currently looking eviction in the eye, because of sheer racism & prejudice, nothing less, they have brought up 4 beautiful daughters (not easy, one imagines), & they lost a 7 year-old Son due to a tragic medical condition. Such adversity often drives couples apart, but Mr & Mrs Red are the real deal & they are as in love as they were 30 odd years ago. They even still hold hands, you know. They have been so kind & supportive to me, too, & many many, others. I hero-worship them both. I hope you'll join me in congratulating them both. They'll appreciate if more than you'll ever know. Title: Re: You get less for Murder.,..... Post by: TightEnd on October 01, 2007, 02:28:24 PM Congratulations to both the RED's, a fine couple.
Title: Re: You get less for Murder.,..... Post by: Dingdell on October 01, 2007, 02:34:27 PM They are both wonderful people - no side to either of them - both so thoughtful and despite their problems always have a listening ear and wonderful way about them. Lifes gems - and lets hope the planners get their act together and see sense.
The room lights up when Mrs Red comes in - you always know she'll have a kind word and wonderful hug ready - and Mr Red - well just the same really. My life has been truly better from knowing them both - and their humilty is astounding - been to Buckingham Palace twice to meet her Madge and when do you ever hear them talk about it? Congratulations to you both, you are lucky to have found each other. Tracey x Title: Re: You get less for Murder.,..... Post by: kinboshi on October 01, 2007, 02:47:42 PM Congratumulations :)up

Post by: RED-DOG on October 02, 2007, 09:13:17 AM Thank you all so very much.
Mrs Red and I have spent the last 30 years pulling in the same direction. We've laughed together, and we've cried together. We've worked side by side, literally shoulder to shoulder, in rain and in sunshine. We don't burden each other with expectation or obligation, and don't live in each other's pockets, but we have that sort of closeness that means we can communicate volumes with just a glance or a small gesture. She is so much a part of me that I don't know where I end and she begins. Of course we've have our arguments, just like everyone else. We have slept back to back, not speaking, but in 30 years, we have never spent a night apart because we've had a row. Whether I'm home or away, I never go to sleep without telling her that I love her. Through all these years, I have drawn my strength from her, she is the foundation that allows me to stand tall. She is my hero, I worship the ground she walks on. Title: Re: You get less for Murder.,..... Post by: tikay on October 02, 2007, 05:30:44 PM Thank you all so very much. Everything I do, every decision I make is based on what it means for both of us (me and Michelle that is, not me and Tom). We both like to do our own thing as well as doing stuff together, but everything is done with the other in mind. Wouldn't have it any other way - and I couldn't imagine my life without her now. We've been married for 5 years, but have been together for over 13 years now. I hope in 25 years I'm posting about our 30th anniversary in the same way Tom has. Michelle is a truly wonderful person - beautiful, intelligent, funny - I know I've won the lottery on this one. Title: Re: You get less for Murder.,..... Post by: Claw75 on October 05, 2007, 12:35:31 PM You two talking about your wives like that has brought a tear to my eye. I don't imagine many people get to experience such togetherness during their lifetime, it's the stuff of romantic novels :) You and your good ladies are truely blessed.
