Title: GUKPT Heads Up 1st Round Draw Post by: AlrightJack on November 23, 2007, 09:51:25 PM The draw for the first round of the GUKPT Heads Up Championship has been made. Unfortunately there were not enough entries to accommodate a 64 runner tournament. There were just 41. The event will now be run as a 32 runner competition. Sadly, the nine last players to register will not be able to play and will receive a refund.
Here is the draw and the start times for the 1st round. All matches take place tomorrow on Saturday 24th November. The first 8 matches will start at 1.30pm. The remainder will start on a rolling basis, as and when seats become available. Mick McCool was, so it is he who now plays James Dempsey.

Reduce the buy-in next year perhaps to £1k or even £750? The appeal of being drawn against some of the more well known players for a relatively low sum would increase incentive. Also, they could get lucky and draw Flushy.
