Playing tonight Adam, will be too busy down the pub/trying to catch the friday night internet fish (delete as appropriate) tomorrow.

I'm driving up north tomorrow, might plan a slight detour......

Playing the blonde satt for the main event at Luton on Saturday if it fills up. If not I'm going to DTD   ;yippee;

Sorry, clashes with the Game of the Year. Wouldn't be suprised if DTD is empty on Fri :P

I so wish I lived closer. I have been selling the venue to all n sundry over the last week but that Friday t time traffic is sic.

As at 10pm last night - Thursday, which was completely sold out, with 20 alternates & 20 or so more unlucky - there were already 42 seats sold for tonight's (Friday) Tourney.

There was also a big queue, way out into the Car Park, to get in, caused by new Members joining up as they arrive, though existing Members can jump the main queue.

Get there early!

Well, I signed up ages ago online for membership, so hopefully it should be a lot easier with just bringing photo ID. I've also already bought into the MTT on dtdpoker.com as well (planning, eh ? Don't you just love it :) )

Just heard on the radio the A52 is closed.

it felt a little more relaxed last night, probably due to a combination of the accident, people failing to register online (must be done by midnight the day before the event !!!) and the possible perception that it would be entirely full again despite the alternates system :( :( - was still a good night though and the comp was a 5- way close chipcount by player request - very close

I loved it, had a great night without ever seeing any cards and busted in (I think) 12th (paid 7) after I'd been pushing the table around and then ran into AK and KK with my 88, so Nick's out and heading to the maddest cash game in the world ever (I took your seat, Fran, when you got up and moved to another table). I was there with my mate Ross, who was probably the only sweaty in the building.

Will be back for sure when I get back from Vegas.

Glad you en joyed it. All of the comps have been a great atmosphere, even when people want to do a deal on final table their has been no arguments, as their is only 2 choices -   "play -on" or do a "chip-count" so everyone is just so relaxed, we do need to look at a few things though, maybe starting 30 mins later on a Friday for people with traffic problems and maybe starting earlier on a Sunday so that people can still get to work at a reasonable time on Mondays.

After each 4 days of opening we review everything, and hopefully over the coming weeks/months we will keep making improvements.

Really enjoyed the £75 on friday, finished about 27/28 after pushing a short stack into the small blinds QQ & big blinds KK, timing eh...

dont forget that Q4 v AK runner runner tut tut

Indeed, my 775 stack with 100/200 blinds had loads of time to wait for a hand!
