Title: Come forth BLONDES, the £200 freezeout at Dusk Till Dawn needs YOU! Post by: Slick Kid on December 23, 2007, 06:45:31 AM The £200 freezeout makes its 3rd outing this evening and as its the last competition in Dusk, till after Christmas we should all take the opportunity to fatten our wallets/purses. I believe Tikay has pencilled in a visit which should bump the value up straight away. The prize pool has meant the winner has been taking home just over £4k, what a lovely bonus coming up to the New Year. There where 11 seats already gone last night, mostly generated from STT's , so add the 40 regulars to that and we have a nice little £10k comp.
Come on folks, we all wanted dusk till (http://www.dtdpoker.com/aff/BlonditesDownload) dawn (http://www.dtdpoker.com/aff/BlonditesDownload), so bin the on line tourneys, sitting there in front of your screen with all your mates(not) dreaming of the big one. Then, there's your local Casino which is easy to get to, but their CRAPSHOOT is designed to get u on to the tables ASAP, no thanks. Make the trip to Notts and in return you can play some live poker with some of the TOP competition/cash players in Europe. Then if you get busted (by me hopefully) you can join the banter on the many cash tables which cater for any bankroll. The PLACE is great, the COMPETITION is great, the STRUTURE is great, the FOOD is great and the ATMOSPHERE is absolutely FANTASTIC.............where do u want to be! This is why l am of the firm belief that in two years or so, some of the best players in Europe will be coming from dtd. I agree with this...4k seemed a bit low to me to start with. Mind you I'd done 3,500 of them in 3 hands in level 1 so maybe I am biased!! However Simon disagreed because he felt that it would discourage late entries/alternates who would then have more of their stacks eroded. I dont think ive ever played in a cardroom without some annoying people, gotta be expected especially when people are losing money. The 3 quid doesnt bother me either cos you make up for it in drinks etc.
