If we were to get 5k starting chips for the £200 I would find it difficult to stay away.

That being said, I find it difficult to stay away anyway.

Tom this is something l agree with and l think if the management read this or we approach them, they might consider changing it, especially if they don't reach their cap.

Rinse, repeat.

So let's have a gentle word with Mother Hen tonight. To be fair, their concern is the late finish, but as the Caah Games run until 6am now, I think we may be able to do a job on Mother Jen.

I agree with this...4k seemed a bit low to me to start with. Mind you I'd done 3,500 of them in 3 hands in level 1 so maybe I am biased!!

Maybe if time is an issue dispense with 75-150 (structure has the lesser and major RED DOG levels) and add 1k to the starting stack

I actually had a conversation with Simon Trumper when he was considering getting rid of one level and I suggested that the 75/150 should be the one to go as we also had the 150/300 included and that I considered that having both to be a luxury.

However Simon disagreed because he felt that it would discourage late entries/alternates who would then have more of their stacks eroded. Something that i had not considered.

5000 chips for the £200 sounds like a good idea to me especially if the field is going to be 50/60.

...talking of tournament structures  in private Poker clubs.....I played at the Gutshot for the first time last night.

£150+£10 freezeout....6,000 chips , every level I can think of, 25 min clock, very well run with friendly dealers and staff.

Its not all bad down south! Cheesy
