Time goes quickly. On Bet365 - Just got my returns and we're 10mins till the next race and i've not had my free bet for the next race

No problem with that but why say you will get it for the next race. if they said next days racing that would be fine but they didn't get it to me in time for the next race.

erm...instantly? If you can't do something you shouldn't promise people you will do it, incompetence is no excuse :)

do you mean you didn't get it for the race you should have? i took it as you didn't get until 10mins before the race it was valid for

only a problem if you haven't got any money in your account anyway, you just place the bet and if it loses your stake gets returned regardless of if you have had your returns back yet. You can get around it by calling customer services if you don't have a balance to place the bet with.

and i challenge anybody to write a program that can settle 100,000+ bets instantly.......

I posted before the race but it is still not with me so they didn't get it to me for the race they said they would.
I am at work and can't whip my mobile out for a chat to Bet365 when the office thinks i'm hard at work.
i've sent them a message via there messaging service and got a reply saying the free bets are credited within an hour. That's not quite next race is it?
I'm not saying is a problem but i was just commenting on the service, as i said above had they promised the free bet on the next days racing i wouldn't have had a problem

that's not the point..you get a free bet on the next Ch4 race!..that is the promise. Bet365 are quite clearly not delivering on their promise, are they?
It's beyond annoying that companies promise something and simply do not deliver..there really is no excuse for it..and "we can't settle bets in time" goes to show they're an incompetent bookie who should not be allowed to take bets on a festival like Cheltenham.

I've just had clarification and you don't actually get a "free bet".

If you have another bet (same stake) on the next live race you get your stake refunded an hour after that race.

it's that way exactly so the promise is always deliverable, people who don't read the t&c's properly can't be accounted for...

Apologies ACE2M but i have never used this offer before but i have had free bets with bet365 before.
For them i was sent a free bet code and had to validate it and put it on my selection.
I don't think they made it clear that you had to place the next bet out of your balance rather than waiting for a free bet.

I have now missed my opportunity at receiving the free bet as i thought i was waiting for a code. That's a bit dispointingas i did contact them before the 2.35 race started.

contact again and they will set you a bet up for tomorrow, just tell them it's your first time and you weren't aware of how it worked.
