only a problem if you haven't got any money in your account anyway, you just place the bet and if it loses your stake gets returned regardless of if you have had your returns back yet. You can get around it by calling customer services if you don't have a balance to place the bet with.

Time goes quickly. On Bet365 - Just got my returns and we're 10mins till the next race and i've not had my free bet for the next race
got to imagine how long it takes to settle that many bets...... erm...instantly? If you can't do something you shouldn't promise people you will do it, incompetence is no excuse  and i challenge anybody to write a program that can settle 100,000+ bets instantly....... |

No problem with that but why say you will get it for the next race. if they said next days racing that would be fine but they didn't get it to me in time for the next race. do you mean you didn't get it for the race you should have? i took it as you didn't get until 10mins before the race it was valid for I posted before the race but it is still not with me so they didn't get it to me for the race they said they would. I am at work and can't whip my mobile out for a chat to Bet365 when the office thinks i'm hard at work. i've sent them a message via there messaging service and got a reply saying the free bets are credited within an hour. That's not quite next race is it? I'm not saying is a problem but i was just commenting on the service, as i said above had they promised the free bet on the next days racing i wouldn't have had a problem |

Bet365 are quite clearly not delivering on their promise, are they? It's beyond annoying that companies promise something and simply do not deliver..there really is no excuse for it..and "we can't settle bets in time" goes to show they're an incompetent bookie who should not be allowed to take bets on a festival like Cheltenham. |

If you are entitled to a free bet (delivered by returning your stake if your selection on the next race is a loser) then place your bet and you will get your money back if it loses. |

I've just had clarification and you don't actually get a "free bet".
If you have another bet (same stake) on the next live race you get your stake refunded an hour after that race.
Channel 4 Free Bet Offer – There are four live Channel 4 races every day of the Festival - back any single winner at 4/1 or more in any of these races and we will give you a free bet to the same stake on the next live Channel 4 race!
Hardly giving it me, more like refunding.
A bit confusing/misleading/easy to misunderstand as a free bet on there is usually redeemed with a free bet code but hey ho.
