quick backgammon question. What is the best opening moves when rolling a double three

I personally think move two from the stack in position 8 and from position 13.

I'd leave position 24 alone as I always seem throw 5/6 after I've moved them, then I'm really in trouble!

strictly speaking, the opening roll can never be a 3/3, because the roll-off means that the first move cannot be a double... so I presume you mean the first move you make after the opening move, and that will depend on what your opponents first roll/move is. If they haven't moved their back 2 pieces, then blocking the 7th column to hinder their escape (ie if they roll 6/x they cant escape as easily)  is probably the best play, if they have advanced their back peices somehow, then you probably need to be a bit more defensive and advance your back peices also.

theyve got my IP adress logged and the switch is on, i lose 87% of the opening rolls, i dont know what a double looks like and what ever number anyone needs to get out they hit

its easy to cheat in slow games because you can input moves into programs like Snowy that give you the mathematically optimal move in any scenario. The same stuff can happen in chess, on sites like ICC... they dont really monitor the low limit games, so people can cheat with impunity at that level. Whether its worth cheating for 50 pence a point at BG is another question entirely.

they did once, i had  Aspades Ahrt and it came Ac Ad Kc Qc  8d i checked it down after 3 betting preflop with 4x the buy in against the other big stack cos i was sure he had the RF and was gonna fold to river bet but he checked and mucked  3c  7h

though i do however think it turned out in my favour, you gotta think by 5am the remaining diamond white is gone and i'm compelled towards patels with my voucher and the idea of more cider, i get there and he's obv not open, i'm looking at between 75-85% of the time in this exact situation i'm jamming a brick through the window and looking to break in, i also estimate that in my drunken state i sucsesfully procure the alcohol avoiding detection about 5% of the time, this situation is massivly -EV for me, looking back i think i dodged a bullet.

if you can only procure alcohol from a smash and grab 5% of the time, you need to work on that technique. Dont worry about detection, no one gives a shit about who you are, the pollice only go to these shops to fulfull the petrol allowace. Smash, grab, and drink. Patel gets his insurance, the police "earn" their wages, and you get to sit in the park drinking diamond whites finest tonic. I cant even figure out who the loser is in this exchange,  maybe the insurance companies, but there is no way that the ethics of an insurance company come between a dedicated soldier and a bottle of diamond white.





where i live, I cant get booze until 11am... so we have to utilise other methods to get our fix. The DWC (diamond white crew) will do anything to get a fix.

Maths has been costing me free alcohol for too long now, can we get a child board for this sort of thing please, general smash and grab strategy etc, taking into account this new information it's starting to look like a +EV move ffs and who knows what other illegall opportunities for the acquisition of alcohol ive been miscalculating but if we dont get a special board or something(and it's clear everyone wants one) then how am i supposed to improve?

this is the plan.......

walk around till i find someone i know, ask them for a pound, and get a diamond white with it, completely legal.

Then i figure once ive had one i'll have the confidence to harass some people i dont know for another pound so i can get another one and so on.

about 1am i'll start kicking the shutters of the main entrance and the night time shelf stacker's will come out to see whats happening, then I'll bundle past them and grab the diamond white(if I'm really under pressure white lightning) then run out.

simple really, i cant See any faults in this plan.

Couldn't find anyone to lend me a pound, end of that!
