Title: Anyone Good at Analysing Dreams? Post by: MrsBoldie on June 18, 2008, 02:52:54 PM Had a strange dream last night that Red Dog and I were playing basketball whilst also eating a chinese vegetable curry. I have a few dream dictionaries at home but none of them list either chinese food, curry, basketball or Red Dog.... Any theories welcome (yes, I know I will probably regret that)

You were dreaming about an impostor. I demand that you dream about the real me at once if not sooner. Title: Re: Anyone Good at Analysing Dreams? Post by: boldie on June 18, 2008, 03:01:51 PM I reckon it means you should consider seeking professional help :)
Title: Re: Anyone Good at Analysing Dreams? Post by: kinboshi on June 18, 2008, 03:02:41 PM I think you must be mad. Not for having that dream, but for being with baldie.
Title: Re: Anyone Good at Analysing Dreams? Post by: Claw75 on June 18, 2008, 03:06:05 PM I have mad crazy dreams every night - ask Kin - he likes to hear about them (but I think he might just be a pervert).
One recurring theme I have that I would be interested in having analysed is that I often dream about being in lifts - more often than not they go out of control in some way - shoot up and down, or move in directions that they shouldn't. Title: Re: Anyone Good at Analysing Dreams? Post by: Dewi_cool on June 18, 2008, 03:08:08 PM Pretty cbvious imo, Boldie has been neglecting you, and you feel he should take you out for a meal to redress the balance :)up

Quote Basketball To dream that you are playing basketball, indicates that you will need the cooperation and assistance of others in order to achieve your goals. Perhaps you are standing in the way of your own progress and need to ask for help. To see a basketball in your dream, suggests that you need to make the first move. You also need to concentrate and be more focused in your goals. Title: Re: Anyone Good at Analysing Dreams? Post by: namma977 on June 18, 2008, 03:36:01 PM Couldn't find any in my dream book but found these on dream moods
Curry To see or taste curry in your dream, suggests that you are emotionally sensitive and easily irritable. Alternatively, it refers to your quick-wit, sharpness, and intellect. It may also mean that you feel like you are hot stuff. Title: Re: Anyone Good at Analysing Dreams? Post by: The_nun on June 18, 2008, 03:53:05 PM To dream that you are eating with others, denotes prosperous undertakings, personal gain, and joyous spirits.
To dream that you are playing a sport, signifies the learning of rules, talents, and the achieving of your goals. It also highlights the importance of cooperation, harmony, and teamwork. Alternatively, it represents your attitudes about sex as an aggressive act. To see vegetables in your dream, signifies your need for spiritual nourishment. It may also foretell that you are lacking in that nutrient. To see or taste curry in your dream, suggests that you are emotionally sensitive and easily irritable. Alternatively, it refers to your quick-wit, sharpness, and intellect. It may also mean that you feel like you are hot stuff. So basically.. You feel like you are hot stuff and want to spice it up a bit with Red Dog, he will give you a taste of spiritual nourishment that you lack with Boldie, as he makes you feel sex is an aggressive act. :dontask: ;) :D :o Oh yeah, the bit about the veggies, you need toget kinky with the cucumbers. Post by: Claw75 on June 19, 2008, 10:26:35 AM now then. I told you I have mental dreams every night, but I've just woken up from a blonde themed one. This'll take some analysing. It was an epic, so I'll just give highlights.
In my dream I had won a competition. The prize was tickets for one adult and one child to go to the Euro 2008 final. The catch was I had to give the prize to someone else and I could then also claim the same prize, or a cash alternative of £1000 for myself. Not knowing who to give the prize to I randomly chose a name from the phone book from the people that lived over the road from me (in this dream I lived next to my old school, opposite a row of shops (which are not there in real life). The lucky winner was Stephen James who worked in an art shop. I went over to see Mr James to give him the good news. The guy in the shop was tall, skinny, with long dark hair. I asked him if he was Stephen James. He said he wasn't; Stephen James didn't work their anymore. I asked him if he liked football, he said no. Now I'm starting to panic - I want to claim my £1,000 but time is short and I need to find someone to give the prize to. As I leave the shop I notice Tank and Flushy sat outside a cafe next door, so I join them. I ask if they want the tickets and they say yes. We then realise they can't both go as it's an adult and a child ticket, so they toss a coin for them and Tank wins. Both boys have no shoes on and I notice that they have very long skinny toes - all painted red. Meanwhile, Tikay is due to receive a CBE, and the ceremony is taking place at my old school. A crowd has started to gather, and Tikay comes walking down the road - Tank, Flushy and I briefly stand up along with the assembled crowd to clap, cheer and laugh. Tikay has a young girl on each arm. There is a haggard old lady following behind and Flushy whispers to us that that is Tikay's wife, Helen , but he keeps her a secret from the rest of the world, but he was duty bound to bring her today. Other parts of the dream include getting home to find Tantrum in my bed - I'd been expecting her but she'd turned up earlly and I'd not changed the sheets and she was complaining about it. Later in the dream some old school friends helped me change the bed. Another part involved me browsing in a bookshop in the states. I was pleased to find the books where cheaper than at home, and found a copy of a book I'd been wanting to buy - the only copy they had was dog-eared and dirty, but I bought it anyway. There was an ice-cream parlour in the shop, and I had some chocolate ice cream. There was a lot more in the dream - too much to mention, but other things that appeared: a taxi ride; being out and feeling uncomfortable that I'd not washed or brushed my teeth before leaving the house (I'd been rushed by the people with me). Title: Re: Anyone Good at Analysing Dreams? Post by: boldie on June 19, 2008, 10:33:01 AM Meanwhile, Tikay is due to receive a CBE, and the ceremony is taking place at my old school.
