I've volunteered for the short straw, running the heads up. Always avoided it so far!

For the Sunday afternoon.

The format will remain unchanged.

For those unaware of the format its teams of 5 in a straight knockout competition

The event will kick off mid afternoon straight after the quiz.

The cost is £20 per player, £100 total for the team.

The captain is responsible for collecting the team money on the day and paying the fees when due.

The draw for the competition will be made beforehand, publicised and people will know their route to the final.

Bollox, im starting new team after seeing the lacklustre makeup of all the others..... how did Snatty's team win this last time ;) ffs?! Only cheerful ppl in this team, no grouchies and u must be there to get drunk and play poker with a smile (no "im driving" excuses).

 Team prerequisites.


a) You must be able to down a pint in under 10 seconds at the bar before every game. You must then not throw up.
b) You cannot complain/ give hand analysis to other team members at any point during the day.
c) You must say sorry every time you outdraw someone, then mutter "donkey" under your breath.
