Just played a guy heads up on stars.

He came from a place called Vevey.

I just called a raise with 34 and flopped the nuts as it came 256 :).

He had Kings and after we stopped playing he wrote the following things.. I have tried babelfish, but they didn't make much sense. I tried Italian and French.

They might mean, well played, you caught me there.. but somehow I doubt it.

Any ideas?

Pretty sure the top one is 'son of a bitch'. (Knew my French A-Level would come in handy sooner or later.) As for the others, 'your mamma' seems obvious, no idea on 'La Troia', but the last one could be 'fuck your sister' or something.

I think it says

'Im not sure you had the implied odds to call a raise with 34 given the stack sizes, however you did have position and a small skill edge, so maybe it was a profitable call'

Either that or he just called you a ***** for busting his cowboys.

Do you just play the HU sngs?

That question is tez, what i mean to say is, do you play HU cash as well or just the SnGs?

If I am ever sitting alone at a hu cash table, take the seat quickly. I am an absolute fish.

My edge in SNG's seems to be that about 90% of players don't seem to understand the strategy changes required as the blinds move up.

With a fixed blind structure I am almost always get caught bluffing in big pots.

Lifetime I am quite a bit up at tournaments and hu sngs.

But I fortunes down in super satellites, live cash and hu cash.

The big question is, why do I keep playing the games I am obviously crap at?

Same reason I back horses I guess.  Can you start updating your blog please, what the hell am I supposed to do at work?  I am hoping to one day give up as a wise man once said...How in the hell could a man enjoy being awakened at 6:30am by an alarm clock, leap out of bed, dress, force-feed, shit, piss, brush teeth and hair, and fight traffic to get to a place where essentially you made lots of money for somebody else and were asked to be grateful for the opportunity to do so?

i played a game online last year, during the game 2 players where talking in a scandi language, i hadn't a clue what they where on about , i took a player for most of his chips in one hand, next minute they are chatting away
like 2 old ladies, i am thinking are they having a go, so i wrote one of sentences down to translate as we played. it must of took me over 10 mins to find out he had said,  "i planted bulbs in my garden yesterday"
never again i just ignore them from now on
