Title: flopped quads (yes I run good) what should I do on the river?

OK- how should I extract max value here- what do you put the two villians on? Shove considering stack size?

always tricky this...anyone with a three will probs only pay off a small bet...I reckon a bet is ussually good when you have a deeper stack...but the pot is already fairly nlarge compared to your stack size and any bet you make will probably not get called..(they surely won't come over the top) so I probably check hoping to induce another bet from the guy who bet the turn.

i would put in a bet around 800 could get called by some weak hands including pps 7+ and ace high or reraised by pocket 6s or pocket 3s

Usually bet just over half the pot, got to get some value if you can out of it.

I may well push to make it look like I don't want the call and I'm stealing the pot.

What do people think about minraising turn?

I only play on Crypto and 95% cash but have still played quite a few MTTs on there. In this instance a decent % of the time I would minraise (or just over-to like 1100/1200) as the players in tournies below $100 level can't ever seem to fold to a min raise pre-the-river and seem to subsequently pay you off much lighter post-river if they've put a half significant lump into the pot.

I've never played Stars so don't know what the players are like in this level of tourney but would you tourney pros view this asmgenerally a horrible line to take?

I always think, in the scenario that you have an unbeatable hand and have no clue as to what your opponent has, just make a big bet. I would bet about 90% of the pot- would that be 2,000?

This could well be read to be a bluff, and be called by ace-high. If this bet has anything more than half the chance of being called that 1,000 does (or one quarter of 500) it shows a profit in the long run.

I echo the Rutter here, just put in a big bet on the river, so many hands including ace high sometimes will look you up and you might even get someone with an unlikely 3 to go nuts.

I dont think I would check the turn btw, its a 4 way pot and someone will have some piece or a reasonable pp, I would be looking to build the pot from the turn onwards. Against a really loose table, i would probably be betting out from the flop onwards.

I usually would lead here but felt that an Ace or King on river would hit utg raiser who had shown no interest so far. the 3 (or so I thought) was such a nothing card that I felt if I double barrelled turn and river any middish pair would fold.

I actually shoved the river- thinking basically what Stu said- if someone was going to call 500 they might be tempted to call for the lot as it looks like a good card to bluff.

The guy who bet on the turn tanked it- called and than typed "sorry but I wanted utg to also call" as he also showed quads- pockets 3s!!!

UTG claims to have folded QQ although I find this very hard to believe!

I think in your OP should have made it clear your flopped top quads.

if you're not gonna bet the flop, you have to at the very least bet the turn

Why??? I don't agree with this. Isn't it better to get some value on the river than have everyone fold on the turn?

7-8, 4-5, club fd's, 6's as well as pp's etc will give you value on the turn no? What range of hands give you better value on the river than these do on the turn?

4 handed tons of hands are gonna call you, and when they call you it allows you to get more value on the river so you get 2 streets instead of 1.
