It's not in Europe, it doesn't begin with a vowel, nor does it border Germany. Just thought I'd mention it. absolutely no idea on questions 4,5,8 or 14 and for that reason I'm out Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: Josedinho on June 23, 2009, 10:51:47 AM meh Snap - can we get another QM to realise their quiz is a bit rubbish and to do it again?absolutely no idea on questions 4,5,8 or 14 and for that reason I'm out Questions are meant to have at least one obvious answer. This seems like a very specialist quiz. Irish whiskey drinkers who like to travel will do very well. Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: Claw75 on June 23, 2009, 12:37:42 PM meh absolutely no idea on questions +1. although in my dream last night a whiskey advert came on TV and I said to whoever I was with 'look - that's a diageo one'. fml. Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: TightEnd on June 23, 2009, 12:40:47 PM 5 and 8 are tough
5, I used to study Diageo but still find it tough 8, wtf? too specialist unless you hail from there 14 is just incendiary/provocative. I refuse to be told I am wrong on Londonderry again when I 100% know I am right and for that reason I am contemplating boycotting this Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: Jon MW on June 23, 2009, 12:44:35 PM I actually don't think this one seems too hard :dontask:

Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: trafficjam on June 23, 2009, 05:16:06 PM Oh dear, I think I could make a good guess on most of the questions and receive the largest sheep score ever but I have never heard of Diageo, is it a Casino in Las Vagas or some other establishment where whiskey flows free and easy? :dontask:
Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: Jon MW on June 23, 2009, 05:22:32 PM It's a drinks company

Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: The_duke on June 23, 2009, 05:44:44 PM Snap - can we get another QM to realise their quiz is a bit rubbish and to do it again? No Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: The_duke on June 23, 2009, 05:57:02 PM I realise that a one word answer is neither polite nor clever and for that I apologise unreservedly . Your comments are very welcome and I have taken into account a perceived level of cranial intelligence in the formulation of the questions. If my perception is so wide of the mark that is a real problem. Unfortunately, due to the fact that I really don’t give a flying the questions remain. Feel free to continue the abuse, it will be taken on board and suitably recorded for future posterity.

The whisky one is not easy as I dislike the stuff but a guess is better than nothing. Thought the questions were quite good really and should make for an interesting reveal. Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: trafficjam on June 23, 2009, 07:55:57 PM sent

The sad thing is that it looks like this week will yet again be won by a googler. QMs really need to get a grip when it comes to making questions. RSQ questions are supposed to have easy answers and more difficult answers. Some of these have only the former. The gatso method of making 20 questions and then removing all the wank ones ftw. Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: The_duke on June 24, 2009, 10:43:48 PM are u serious

I know a total of zero answers for this 9-13 so easy its laughable made even easier by the fact that we've already had 2 of the questions 14 should be a good debate -- but you might be surprised sigh, lol 15 unless u live in outer mongolia you can also get most of these srs? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netherlands The Netherlands is often called Holland, which is formally incorrect as North and South Holland are actually two of its twelve provinces (see terminology of "the Netherlands"). The word Dutch is used to refer to the people, the language, and anything pertaining to the Netherlands. The difference between the noun and the adjective is a pecularity of the English language and does not exist in the Dutch language. €1 and €2 notes Italy, Greece, Austria and Slovenia have asked several times to introduce lower denominations of euro notes.[14] The ECB has stated that "printing a €1 note is more expensive (and less durable) than minting a €1 coin". On 18 November 2004 the ECB decided definitively that there was insufficient demand across the Eurozone for very low denomination banknotes. On 25 October 2005, however, more than half of the MEPs supported a motion calling on the European Commission and the European Central Bank to recognise the definite need for the introduction of €1 and €2 banknotes.[15] However it must be noted that the European Central Bank is not directly answerable to the Parliament or the Commission, and will therefore possibly ignore the motion. Don't know where Jon got that image but it isnt in circulation Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: Shogun112 on June 30, 2009, 07:53:19 PM but Duke the question did not refer to legal tender or not. The M6 motorway is the longest motorway in the United Kingdom. It runs from junction 19 of the M1 near Rugby in central England, passes between Coventry and Nuneaton, through Birmingham, Walsall and Stafford and near the major cities of Wolverhampton and Stoke-on-Trent. The motorway has a major junction onto the M56 and M62 at Warrington, giving access to Manchester and Liverpool. The M6 then heads north past Preston and Lancaster. After the latter two cities it passes through Cumbria with some parts very close to the edge of the Lake District, and then passes Carlisle, before terminating on the A74(M) near the Scottish border. a fail i'm afraid Title: Re: Reverse Sheep 24 - Post by: xxMAIRxx on June 30, 2009, 09:12:12 PM "Travels through" means .. enters and exits ...
