It's the only time you'll stay in a 5 star hotel for about £50 per night! I got a deal at the Venetian from there for about $130 ish per day that also included $50 match bet per day I stayed. Stuck it all on red one spin and won, got a near freeroll on my hotel lol.

Staying at The Venetian. It's cheap enough if you play half a dozen or so deepstacks and get the poker rate. They can't sort this out for you until the night before you leave. Keep your tournament receipts. Title: Re: Vegas in November 09 Post by: Simon Galloway on August 06, 2009, 03:07:00 AM It might be possible to hire a car in Las Vegas. £20 a day all inc. for a full size motor and if you get mangled and have to leave the car somewhere for a couple of days, no problem. South Point + car is still cheaper than many centre strip offerings.
I have had South Point and Red Rock on the "possibles" list for a while now. Red Rock generally price themselves out, but South Point have plenty of offers, the rooms look up to date and great value and the food options are pretty good. I would have booked it previously but they had one 'sold out' date in the middle of my dates which messed it up. Those people were proven wrong yesterday when there was a line out the door all day. Then there were people who believed that once the first seven busted out and their fans went looking for a bar that the heads-up battle would be void of spectators. Wrong again. Tonight, this theater is once again filled to capacity with a line of people waiting to get in. As one person here noted, "These aren't people who are here to watch one player. These are fans of poker."
Thats from last year, the players get allocated seating for their supporters so it should be fine. Title: Re: Vegas in November 09 Post by: Nibbles on August 06, 2009, 05:40:54 PM and for the people based north of Watford (eg me) Thomas Cook fly direct from MAN
