Title: Zheng Zhi? Post by: Rod Paradise on September 02, 2009, 02:20:10 PM How did the Charlton fans & people who've seen him play rate him?
We've had Matt Holland & Chris Iwelomu ;goodvevil; praising him in the papers up here. If he does well he'll probably earn a lot for the club (which is no doubt what the beancounters are thinking), but I've read that Mowbray tried to sign him for West Brom as well. Title: Re: Zheng Zhi? Post by: gatso on September 02, 2009, 02:28:51 PM absolute quality. would be at a premiership club now if it wasn't for his injury, if he stays fit he'll prove to be a really great signing for you
never understood why we didn't exploit the fact that we had the chinese national captain playing for us, he has to be worth so much in merchandising Title: Re: Zheng Zhi? Only bad thing being pre-season games'll be on the other side of the planet again.... Title: Re: Zheng Zhi? Post by: gatso on September 02, 2009, 02:44:35 PM any idea where you've signed him to play? I'd say he works best as an attacking midfielder but we also used him as a 2nd striker and he's played in defence. he looks useful anywhere on the pitch
