Mike Matusows autobiography was a really good read, recommend it. Title: Re: POKER BOOKS Post by: paulhouk03 on February 19, 2010, 07:35:28 PM carl the dean sampson is the shizz

Mike Matusows autobiography was a really good read, recommend it. If maths is too complicated for you, online poker may well be too, it's hard to get by on just feel. No reason to not read it, it's like work because it's school text book style but that's the best way to explain it. The CTS e-books v good for reg exploitation at ssnl and msnl online too. :)up Title: Re: POKER BOOKS Post by: George2Loose on February 19, 2010, 10:53:38 PM Every hand revealed- great book but not great strat imo- works for Gus cos of his image

It's basically a maths textbook. Title: Re: POKER BOOKS Post by: redarmi on February 20, 2010, 11:47:11 AM My biggest issue with Gus's book is that it doesn't show the hands that he lays down preflop. Obviously most of it is junk like 10 3o but it would be interesting to see the cases where he tightens up significantly in the face of bets preflop and lays down relatively big hands Reading the book it seems like loves anything remotely resembling a hand but I am sure that isn't totally the case and the more interesting preflop laydowns would be useful. Other than that I really enjoyed it.
