Title: River decision
Post by: pleno1 on April 18, 2010, 07:01:44 AM
Guy is really tricky, I basically raised every hand for last few orbits. He's 3bet me once and been commited to call a shortie shove and he had A10o.He's playing 35/12/7. He has c/r the river and not shown down before and has c/r me on a q72 flop. If bet how much?

tbh, with the pot at like 28k ish, and him having like ~35k back... i think this is a good (probably perfect) spot to shove.

His missed draws are folding even if you bet 1k yet all his Qx are probably hero'ing.

he bet the turn when checked to

I'd bet about 15k on the end. If he shoves I'm not folding.

if hes tricky i think its close between induce and jam, prolly erring on side of jam.

missed out something thats probs really important. He timebanked for about 25 seconds before making his decision. He was 1 tabling fwiw. Does this skew his range to complte air/nuts?

Jam is respectable option. Reason I favour induce is cos hero has raised every hand last few orbits so appears super loose and villain has already forced an oppo to fold by c-r river in an earlier hand. We possibly get calls from more than just Q-x as well if we v-bet. The bit of value we lose from specifically Q-x (if indeed Q-x does call a jam) can be recouped by making our v-bet bluffs cheaper and more credible having shown down this hand.
