Can someone do a question from the era when Forest were last good and preferably about Forest.

c. 1990 I would guess. Pearce, Walker, Keane etc.

I might actually get one right then and finally prove that I'm a true bloke.

Which British team has won the European Cup more times than its own top league?

This one may take some thinking about.

Erm.......

Forest?

Premier League wise it was Notts Forest vs Spurs IIRC, Teddy scoring for Forest in a 2-1 win, might not have been the first game on sky though. Thinking about it, it used to be BSKYB right and I'm sure they sposored teh conference at one point so probs a lower league game.

Was listening to 5 Live on the way home last night and they had a good question.  I missed the answers so won't be able to confirm them but thought I'd bump the post as I was curious as to who they were !  Apologies if it's been asked already

Only two men have been sent off in the first minute of a match in the history of the Premiership, who are they?

had a quick google and found this

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion/blogs/football-banter/Sunderland-midfielder-David-Meyler-Man-United-s-Liam-O-Brien-Blackburn-s-Tim-Flowers-and-the-Top-10-fastest-sendings-off-of-all-time-article319281.html

which would suggest that it's never happened unless it's since feb when the article was written

Pressman is one apparently, although they in the Premiership the league before.  Perhaps I miss heard part of the question!

The other is in the list Gatso posted, 4) Keith Gillespie (Sheffield United) - 12 seconds after coming on as a sub.

lolz. so there were only 2 players to be sent off in the 1st min of a prem match; one wasn't in the prem and the other wasn't in the 1st minute

seems standard for these footy questions

did anyone ever get my one about what is 'unique' about the australian and NZ world cup squads? cba to check

assuming not then the answer was that both contained players who at the time didn't play for a club side

Hadn't Pat Jennings retired from club football a year before the 1986 World Cup?

no idea. was only referring to 2010 squads, I'm sure there's plenty more over the years if you look back
